"Great place! Had all the amenities. Very welcoming. Great location. Thank you to the host! Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Easy access for manoeuvring our 24ft snowmobile trailer. OFSC Snowmobile Trail 179 was right out front. Hot tub was great! Beds were comfy. Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly allowed us to bring our fur babies. Host was very attentive to all our questions. "

The cottage was the perfect getaway - right on the lake with a beautiful dock, and the cottage had everything you needed to feel right at home. Also, being only 15min away from Bancroft was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

However, we were very surprised to see that the primary bedroom shown in the photos no longer exists. It has been renovated to two bedrooms, and the barn door is no longer there. "Older home in reasonably good repair, except the back deck and a lot of squeaky doors. Lots of room and well-equipped. Large creek at the edge of the back yard which is very scenic and possibly a kayak launch but best to check first. Hot tub under the stars is lovely. "

"We (2 couples) had such a great time at The Three Loons Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed; a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the deck, using the canoes, and paddle boats (it was greatly appreciated that there were life jackets in a variety of sizes), and sitting around the fire pit at night looking at the stars.
