Relax on the front porch swing while enjoying the view of the beautiful Indian River. Enjoy the river breeze while sipping your morning coffee & watching the sun rise over the river and birds catching their morning fish or sip a glass of wine on the veranda as the Riverboat Queen goes by in the evening. Fish from the river deck or watch missles go up from Cape Canaveral situated right across the river. Enjoy the short stroll or bike along the river road to historic Cocoa Village. In the village enjoy boutiques, restaurants, outdoor jazz, and special events. Only 8 miles or about 15 minutes from world famous Cocoa Beach, Canaveral Pier & Ron Jon Surf shop. 45 minutes along the Beach Line HWY 528 to Orlando tourist attractions yet away from the crowds and traffic. Spend a day farther north in historic St Augustine or Daytona Beach. This historic Craftsman style home has all the southern charm of days gone by yet all the conveniences you will need to have a wonderful vacation. If you are looking for somewhere to make memories with your family and feel the blessings of a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere yet minutes away from sunshine activites, then Strong Haven is for you. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, front veranda and screened porch, deck over the river, fully equipped kitchen, large dining room as well as breakfast room gives everyone room to enjoy their vacation. Watch dolphins or manatees swim the river or listen to the cries of the osprey as they catch fish and eat in the tall pine tree right in front on the river. This is Florida at its natural best.

Strong Haven

We loved it! Three generations and 10 people stayed here and enjoyed living in history! The house fit everybody comfortably and although over 100 years old has all the modern amenities. Vivian was a great host and always communicated promptly. The house has great views (don’t miss the sunrises) and a great location (walking distance to Cocoa). The kids all want to go back and so do we.

Great time at Strong Haven

My family and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful old home with so much history and charm. We loved the porches and especially the dock in the evenings where we saw a dolphin, a manatee and stingrays.

July 4th Trip

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Home. Everything was nearby restaurant's, activities, and shopping. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and from our boat that we docked at the dock in front of the house. Such a wonderful trip we made lots of memories and plan to visit again in the future. Awesome place to stay.

We love old houses and Strong Haven is a nice place. Right on the Indian River it was a quiet, nice neighborhood. Just enough modern to be comfortable, and enough originality to be a fun stay. The front porch at sunrise is especially nice.

We were so pleased with our stay at Strong Haven. The house is beautiful and well kept with charming historic touches. Loved spending evenings on the porch overlooking the river. The dock was great and we were able to get some fantastic up close pictures of the dolphins playing in the water. Can't wait to stay again!

A wonderful house with character in a super location. 7 adults and 2 active 4-year olds enjoyed the house very much. Comfortable and the owner's attention to detail was most appreciated. Visited the beach, Kennedy Space Center (saw a launch!), the dinosaur store, and the nearby restaurants (walkable) in Cocoa. Super visit!

This property and the house are absolutely beautiful. Perfect location to walk around town. The Indian River Lagoon is AMAZING! Every morning we walked down and watched the dolphins. My family and I absolutely loved this house, property and location.
