"Everything was great! Area about 30 minute drive from the village of Placencia. By the hotel, about 8 restaurants less than a mile walk. Easy parking at the hotel. Super clean, nice swim up bar in the pool. Excellent help from staff. Highly recommend. "

"The staff and the amenities at this property are amazing. Definitely book it. We had a private villa with our own pool and outdoor shower and a beautiful bathtub. The bed was so comfortable and the property was so clean. They have many options for food and drink And the beach was amazing! Unfortunately, it was kind of rainy when we were there, but we still found wonderful things to keep ourselves busy."

"This property is a familly owned and managed resort. Hospitality to perfection. It is beautifully built with lots of lovely details. The team is totally content and you, as a guest, can definitely feel this. The place is beautiful calm and relaxing. Perfect hide out if you like to reset from busy life. Rooms are beautifully decorated, Did i alredy mention the great fluffy white towels? The comfy bed and the natural sound of the waves you wake up to? After a rainfall shower you go to breakfast....

"Bocawina is well run. They cater to customer needs without being pushy. Their staff are all local and they try to find other guides if necessary to fit your desires for your vacation. The property is very attractive and clean. We had no problems with bugs in the room. Overall, a very nice place."

"Roberto was great driving us around and providing a tour of Hopkins Village. He is our new best friend in Belize. The Front desk staff (Inga, sorry if I missed spell) was wonderful, friendly, professional, and made sure we were comfortable. We also received a GREAT!!!!! tour of Freshwater Creek Farm. It is a must do when you are staying at Maya Heights Village Resort. And the food and laundry services was very good too. Delicious food and cocktails. We are sooooo...grateful for you all at...

Nestled right in the heart of the entertainment district (if you can call it that in this laid-back village), it’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in the local culture.You’ll find yourself surrounded by an eclectic mix of local bars, restaurants, and businesses run by both welcoming locals and expats from around the globe. One of the highlights for us was being just a short 10-minute drive from the best birria tacos we’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Beef Masters Pasture-Raised Farm has a food truck that is a must-visit; their tacos are absolutely incredible.What really made this experience stand out, though, were the people. The locals welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
