The listing doesn’t say upstairs or downstairs so we were in the wrong part of the house and the second building wasn’t one of the places to stay in so someone had to leave for no reason for the miscommunication cause we had the wrong part of the house. "Overall a positive experience. Property was clean and worked out really well for us as location was close to family we were visiting. We are from Florida, and it was cold in CT and the heat worked great so that was really good. Andrew was responsive to requests. Only criticism was in some of the set up. "Spotless and comfortable accommodations set right in the center of historic and picturesque East Haddam, CT. The young couple who kept the driveway, walks, and parking area free of snow and ice were especially appreciated. It was warm and cozy. Very satisfying and delightful stay. Thank you!"

"This was a great place to stay for us with our St Bernard during a dog competition weekend. Clean, comfortable bed, space to walk the dog in the morning—it hit the mark. Though we did not use it, the kitchen looked adequate for basic use, and there was a coffee maker with pods available."

Beds were comfy, plenty of linens available, kitchen well stocked, and all appliances and fixtures are updated.
