Set back on a quiet residential road on the hill overlooking Playa Hermosa beach and the jungle with far reaching mountain views, Villa Komodo offers everything to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay.
Three spacious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms.
The upstairs master suite has a king size bed and a sofa bed in the living area. You can enjoy the jungle views on one side and the ocean view from another. The master bathroom suite offers a bathtub, double sinks and glass shower to enjoy the jungle.
The other upstairs bedroom has two twin beds with huge open shower room. Ocean and mountain views. The beds can be pushed together to make a king size if necessary. There is also a pull out bed under one of the twin beds for one other person.
The downstairs bedroom has a large double bed (1.8mx2m) with shower room and walk in closet.
All the bedrooms offer air conditioning, luxury cotton sheets and towels, imported Italian ceramics and furniture from all around the world.
The main open plan living area has a fully fitted kitchen with full appliances including large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, five hobs and stocked full of equipment to serve a dinner party for twelve.
Separate utility room for storage and washer and dryer.
Inside dining area for six with upholstered chairs. Custom made large L shaped sofa facing flat screen TV with Sky TV.
This area leads out to the huge covered patio with further seating area and locally made 3m wooden dining table with seating for twelve. Amazing space for entertaining and simply enjoying the outdoors whilst being covered by the sun (or rain!).
The patio overlooks the 10mx3.5m swimming pool plus entrance steps and children's play area/lounge area. One one end boasts a gorgeous Balinese pool house with mattress and cushions from India to relax and unwind.

The house is beautifully furnished with an array of different styles from local Costa Rican woods, Balinese furniture, Mexican tapestries, Indian cushions, African artefacts and many more!
The house has wifi throughout.
Ample parking at the rear of the house. We can help arrange car/quad/buggy rentals and assist with booking many local activities from surf lessons to horse back riding to fishing tours.
The area offers a huge selection of delicious international cuisine. We have an in house folder with all the best local options available.

Komodo es Comodo!
This property is perfect in every way - being my first trip to this region, I was a little concerned that we were going to be too far away from the action in Santa Teresa, however that is just not the case. Not only is it a short five min drive, but we actually loved being away from the hustle and bustle of ST and are even looking at property here in Hermosa now. The owners of the home were very helpful with any requests we had, and the cleaner Giselle keeps the place immaculate at all times. Would definitely rent again! Thank you for such a lovely and memorable stay Villa Komodo! 💙

Perfect!
The house is beautiful and surrounded by the jungle, the decoration is very tasteful! We had a great time by the pool, watching the colorful birds and hearing the monkeys. You have absolutely everything you need and the house is perfectly clean! Scarlet and her husband are really kind and make sure everything is right. We do recommend a 4x4 car since the road in Santa Teresa isn’t finished.

We had a lovely time in Santa Teresa. The house is decorated with great taste. It is a pitty we didn't spend much time in it since we went to the beach the whole day. The hosts were great and attended to all our needs with a great attitude. We'll definitely come back.

Perfect house!
We had the most amazing trip staying in this beautiful house with our three children over New Years and the start of 2018. The house was perfect, with everything we needed for a family set up whilst also feeling luxurious. We were just a short drive from the beach and had the big pool for the children at the house. Absolutely wonderful
People prefer different things, places and people but we absolutely loved everything about this place. We appreciated the privacy but yet everything was a short drive away. The villa was clean and well maintained. You can sense that the owners have put their hearts in that place! Also, the owners were very warm and helpful! We feel very lucky to have found that place!

Amazing home with great views
The home is beautiful and it has everything we needed for a perfect getaway. It is located on a hill top which allows for a 360 degree view of the forest and the ocean. In the morning howler monkeys hung out in the tree next to the house..it was amazing. The interiors are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is also very well equipped. We spent most of our time on the big patio and in the pool enjoying the view of the ocean. Scarlett and Lincoln were wonderful hosts. They were always very responsive, helpful and made us feel at home.

Paradise found!
Villa Komodo was like paradise for my family and I during our June vacation. The house has been extremely well furnished and decorated with fabulous finds from all around the world. The views are really quite incredible from every room in the house, you get to enjoy the ocean, jungle and mountain views! We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, doing laps while listening to the parrots swarming overhead and looking at the endless butterflies all around the lush tropical gardens. The outside patio was the perfect place for the family to get together in the evening. So spacious and comfortable. There was always a slight breeze being so high up, yet we were only a few minutes drive to get to the beach. We have taken away endless memories of this truly fabulous spot and highly recommend to anyone. We are already booked to come back next year!

Excellent new villa, in spectacular location with stunning jungle and ocean views.
I stayed here while visiting my daughter and very young grandchildren. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated, furnishings from around the world. Perfect pool with a glorious pool house for relaxing. Plenty of landscaping to give a really tropical feel. Very close to the beach and perfect for family holidays and couples alike. Owners were very helpful in giving local advice and booking tours. Horse tour to the Ario, not to be missed.

My wife and i had been to santa Theresa before but in the dry season so thought it avoid idea to see the wet season. We found villa Komodo and it looked fine - and it was. Spacious, well equipped, lovely pool and all surrounded by lush jungle and a view of the Pacific.plenty of outdoor covered space to relax
