We highly recommend a stay at Equivine Farm! The house is luxurious and comfortable – even more than the photos suggest – well-appointed, and wonderful for a large group. Everything seemed new or recently updated. We were delighted by the grounds, the horses, the walking paths, and the scenery. David, our host, was extremely warm and responsive, and gave us great suggestions for local attractions and food (check out the Marshalton Inn!).
We were there to celebrate a big milestone birthday with family (including one little dog), and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect or welcoming setting for that event. (There were even birthday candles and lots of matches + lighters!) The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. Though we mostly spent time in the open kitchen/dining/family room area, we also loved the fact that there were lots of other spaces in the house where one could get away to read, take a Zoom call, or work on a surprise birthday gift.
One other thing that turned out to be extremely important was how handicap accessible the house was. One of our family members unexpectedly showed up on crutches, and the fact that there was a ramp to get into the house, a bedroom on the ground floor, and a bathroom with a roll-in shower stall made it possible for her to join us despite her injury.
We had a wonderful time and would love to go back.
