"I've rarely experienced hospitality as this, period. And, I've traveled to many parts of the world and all over the US, renting homes and staying at resorts such as Four Seasons and St Regis. The owners, Alin and Hertha, were there to meet us upon arrival and welcomed us with open arms. It is hard to go over everything that they arranged for us to make our stay so comfortable as we were there to shoot a film documentary and needed a quiet, more remote place to stay to unwind each day. "Niice very modern renovation of an older (19th century?) building, right off a main boulevard 5 minutes away from just about everything you'd want to see in Cluj. Staff is friendly and helpful, my room was adequate for the price and breakfast was generous and tasty. Only 2 quibbles. 1. skimpy pillow. 2. no way to adjust heat/cooling in room and in the course of 4 days in mid-October, one would have need of both."

"I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too."
