Located less than a block away for a leisurely stroll on a semi-private beach, this two-story home puts you in a prime location! Start your day with morning coffee on the furnished lower-level deck or the upper-level balcony. When you return home from a day of exploring, cozy up by the gas fireplace with a good book or for cocktails and chit-chat. In the evenings, prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen and share them at the adjacent expandable dining table that seats eight. End your days with a movie night on the living room TV. Additional amenities you can find here include a beach wagon, sand toys, four adult camper chairs, a Columbia cooler bag, beach towels, a Solo Stove firepit with kindling bins, and S'mores sticks - all stored in the garage.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Lovely and quiet
Tierra del mar is out-of-the way, close to an under-used beach. The property was clean and comfortable. We had a great time.

Nice place to stay, would stay again
The house was comfortable and pretty clean. The king beds were comfortable. The bunk bed is for smaller children so my 11 year old hit her head a few times. Close to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Best part was there was no toxic plug in fresheners. There are a few stainless steel pots which was nice- no pans though. There is a great market nearby in pacific city that has some healthier options.

Amazing place to stay
Loved this house. They have thought of everything you could possibly need. Especially in the kitchen! 2 min walk to the beach. Cozy beds and get decor. Definitely going back!

Nice location for visiting Whalen Island and Sand Lake Recreation area. Comfortable and clean. If you arrive at night, bring a flashlight to illuminate the door entry keypad. There was no external light. We had a great visit.

Loved it!
This house had everything we needed. (Except perhaps a fan for the living room on an 84 degree fall day!) The beds were amazing! We had every kitchen item we needed from the cookware to the Brita filter. Fresh Coho salmon from Cape Kiwanda Market was delish! Our only real problem was getting into the house. We were given the wrong code. It was challenging to have cellular service to talk to Vacasa. But we were able to access a key and eventually the house.

A nice well appointed house
We spent 9 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The house is not on the beach but it is very short walk to the end of the street and over the dune. There are beach toys for kids, plenty of beach chairs, firepit and a BBQ. Everything, including the furniture in the house, was in good shape and the kitchen was well equipped enough to cook all our meals. The beds were pretty good as well. If you have mobility issues the narrow and steep stairs cannot be avoided as you must use them to get to the upper/main floor/kitchen as well as the lower floor. There are wooden stairs down the dune to access the beach as well. None of this impacted us however and we had a great time. We would stay here again.

It’s a great location to the beach, and had comfortable rooms to stay in. We didn’t have cell phone reception in the house or area, so make sure everything is in order before you arrive in case. We did have issues getting the correct code to enter the house and downstairs had a musty odor that would come and go.

Amazing house in a special location
House is spacious, newly renovated, fully equipped, plenty of gear in the kitchen if you like to cook. You can tell that the owners really care. Great for 2 families. Super close to beach, extremely quiet neighborhood, close to town and to great hiking at Sitka Sedge & Cape Point State Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful woman’s weekend
This is a very peaceful, serene atmosphere. The house is very clean and everything you need is on-site. So many windows to see the wonderful winter storms outside while being warm and cozy inside. Would recommend to everyone needed to get away.

Quick getaway

Gorgeous beach retreat
Casa Del Mar exceeded expectations! Everything was sparkly clean and welcoming when we arrived, and we felt at home right away. Gorgeous open floor plan with natural light, grey wood floors and smart comfortable furniture. The perfect table for group meals and puzzle building, and lovely living room space to lounge with a glass of wine and chat. We enjoyed the relaxing on the back patio and used the handy hose to wash up after long walks on the beach. We hope to return again!

Shortest walk to the beach
Great house that is very close to the beach and you don’t have to cross the main road. The house looks to be newly remodeled - which is great but the bedroom doors are not locked on hinges, therefore don’t close. Keep in mind that this is a split level house, if you have older people in your family who have a hard time using stairs. Plenty of sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, dishwashing tablets, and best of all we didn’t even have to use our sand toys. They had beach toys and a pull wagon available to use, which was perfect. They also have firewood available. Laundry room was useful, beds comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and will be coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was older, but very well maintained. Just a short walk to the beach. The extra touches that were provided were appreciated (beach towels, beach wagon, sand toys, roasting sticks, firewood). We would definitely recommend this house!
