"Our second visit to the Blacksmiths Arms. Stayed in room 11 which was one of the little cottages at the rear of the property. Very comfortable room with full length shower in the bathroom. The food was outstanding with a good breakfast selection and delicious evening meals. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop on the main road every half hour to Whitby (via Robin Hood’s bay) and Scarborough in the opposite direction so we were able to leave the car and travel by bus. Would definitely stay again. "

"Amazing find. The room and bathroom were very spacious with a separate bath and shower. Incredibly comfortable beds and overall a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good at £10 per person and the only downside overall if I could find one was the weather and.... no ironing board, but apart from that, it was just superb."

The hotel is quiet, no traffic noise, and it is easy to walk to tourist attractions in South and North Bay from this central locations.
