Lilac Cottage is great!
For two people this cottage was perfect for us. I would gladly go here again. It was better than advertised. There was plenty of room to spread out our things, park the truck, trailer and motorcycles. It has a great floor plan; lots of separate areas. We walked to the village for shopping & eating. Our dog loved it. A fenced in backyard helped keep him happy and controlled. There is no air conditioning; so for 2-3 hours in the afternoons (80 degrees), we needed fans to stay cool. The kitchen was filled with all the dishes and aparatus you could ask for. Overall, this is a great value. I recommend it.

Relaxing Environment
We enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Plenty of space for the three of us, everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, description of property on spot. One queen bed is a Murphy bed and the person sleeping on it commented on it was very hard and back hurting after two nights. Overall we would stay there again for a long weekend tri again.

Convenient summer location
We had 6 adults and one dog. The large back deck was a wonderful place to sit together in the afternoons and evenings. We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops. Trail heads were very close, but we chose to drive to them. Cloudcroft was a welcome relief from the high heat of Texas and Arizona.

Nice cottage in cute little town
Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend and our dog in the winter. It was more than enough space for us and great to have the back yard. It was quite cold outside and the pellet stove and small space heaters did a pretty good job of keeping the cottage warm, though we didn't use the 2nd bedroom so that would be my only concern if you are staying here in the winter. There were a couple minor issues on our stay, but the property manager Stacie responded immediately, (on a holiday no less) and was very friendly and helpful.

Quite and cool
It was my husband and my 40th anniversary. Because of our hectic work schedule we only had time for a weekend trip. Cloudcroft was cool. The cottage was just like pictured. Super cute.
