"This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!"

With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"Overall a lovely cottage suitable for our needs. Good facilities & great peaceful location. On arrival it could have been a bit cleaner. It could do with a better working vacuum cleaner & the dust section was full when we tried to use it. Decor could do with updating. The bathroom could do with a towel rail & an extractor fan or easier access to open the window."

"Our home away from home. Our stay was warm, cozy and extremely comfortable. Very impressed and will definitely revisit. The home had everything we needed and most importantly the furniture was comfortable - you could sink into the sofa and enjoy the views from the windows with a perfect book. Absolutely loved it!!"
