"We had a reunion of 7 couples that worked together in the UK at Killaghy Castle. It is a true castle and is steeped in history. The property is very comfortable with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Three bathrooms are en suite and 2 are “communal.” The dine in kitchen is very large and equipped with a five burner stove, double oven, 2 refrigerator/freezers, 2 microwaves, and more plates/bowls/cutlery than you can ever huge. There is a wonderful sitting room with a great fireplace and a formal dining room that will seat 16 comfortably. The village of Mullinahone is small but wonderful and you are equidistant from both Kilkenney and Clonmel which are worth visiting. T j Macs bar is a 10 minute walk and the owner, T J, can take care of all of your needs plus it is a wonderful pub. The castle owners Pat and Mary are a delight. Their daughter Eileen is the property manager, she is super responsive and pretty much immediately took care of all of our requests. We had a lovely time. I highly recommend Killaghy castle as a destination for group gatherings."

"My family has been renting homes in Europe for more than 40 years, and I can honestly say that the Ryans were the most gracious hosts we've ever had. They could not have been more accommodating. Anything you need or want, and they are there to help with a smile. The house is like being in two centuries at once with all the charm of the medieval building it is and all the modern comforts we've come to expect. The house is well stocked with everything you need - linens, dishes, pots & pans and the best chef's knives I've ever encountered in a rental. The hosts have also added many lovely extra touches, and the house is beautifully appointed - and spotless! We found the location to be perfect for us. It's just enough of the way to be quiet and private, but close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. And the views are just spectacular! We could not recommend this home more. "
