excellent value hotel and original features to the old hall very good ambiance.
The breakfast was good except for the toast not arriving after requesting several times! Told it comes automatically without requesting but it must have got lost on its way..
Stayed here for 2 nights in July, very impressed with the location and grandeur of the hotel as you approach.
Room was comfortable and clean and wifi was strong in all parts of the hotel. Breakfast was cereals toast and juices and was very nice, 1 down side and this is just a one off they held a prom night and VERY loud music under my room until about 11pm but thats been and gone now and they did tell me when i checked in
Lovely hotel with great service and good food Room was on the small side. Due to it's location it would be very useful if there were EV charging facilities available.
Attended a wedding. Beautiful setting. Rooms just a little tired, dusty and shower head need cleaning. Bed was super comfy. Only 1 boy serving at breakfast but very helpful breakfast was very good. Just 1 miserable waitress at the wedding. Dont like bottle being placed under arm pit when serving one of other wines, carrying 3 bottle's.
A one night stay at this beautiful hotel. A mixture of old and contemporary perfectly blended. The Queen Suite is well worth the money, spacious and welcoming.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The food is outstanding! Fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and presented.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel that may not be to everyone’s taste
Ok one night stay.
Bed a little too hard
Room very hot in June 2023
Gardens a bit underwhelming considering the amount of land the hotel as.
Food and drink good.
Stayed in the Ribble Suite it was very nice apart from the Bathroom was very cold only having a small electric heated towel rail you have to leave the bathroom door open with the heat full on in the Suite for a hour or so to warm up the bathroom.
our biggest gripe was that the Suite was warm all
afternoon but when we returned to dress for dinner at 7pm the hotel heating had turned itself off and the room was uncomfortable chilly reported it to night manager who Forbes the hotel heating boiler back on.
The Ribble Suite has what we believe the Hotels main heating ducts a d heating pipes tuning behind a false wall making the room sound as though you are in a aircraft flying at 30,000 ft the night manager did offer to move us to another room but not a Suite as all other suites were taken so we chose to stay in the Ribble Suite the heating did switch off at 1am and we managed to get 3 1/2 hours sleep before we were woken again at 4.30 am when it cane back on.
Each Sunday there is classical musicians playing from 12noon to 8pm The piano player was a super chap playing continuously until 11pm stating 3hours over his finish time playing guests requests.
During the afternoon their was also a very talented
Flute player.Wecstecin the Restraunt Cream of
Mushroom Soup very large portion but too thick for our liking mor of a porridge consistency.
The Roast Beef dinners were again very large portions especially the beef but was let down my Uber coked rock hard Roast Potatoes
Wonderful setting and lounge area let down by the management having just two staff on (one in the restaurant one on the bar) with between 25 and 30 people dining and staying over.

Imposing building but the interior was tired and mismatched furnishings let it down. Large room with fabulous window onto the surrounding countryside. Brilliant staff.
THE ACCOMMODATION 1ST CLASS!
THE FOOD PRODUCED BY THE CHEF EXCELLENT!
THE SERVICE EXCELLENT!
THE WAITRESS AT BREAKFAST ANNOYED BECAUSE WE CHOSE A DIFFERENT TABLE TO THE ONE SHE HAD DECIDED WE WOULD SIT AT! ... BAD NEWS!

Lovely property and grounds.
Very impressed on approaching Mitton Hall and interior equally impressive.
Room well appointed , modern and clean but lacking clothes hangers and toiletries in shower. Also no phone to contact reception to address the missing articles.
Mitton Hall is a beautiful hotel. The lads at the bar were very warm and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that I was unable to connect my Echo Alexa and my Firestick tho one of the lads lent me a Bluetooth speaker but I missed my Echo. The food was very good and the room sort of medium but it was a room for dogs. It had a bathroom and all amenities.
When we arrived, they couldn't find our booking whether there was bad communication between Hotels.com or the Hotel we were not sure, therefore there was not a room booked for us. As there was a wedding the next day, they were only able to give us a room for one night, which they did and upgraded us to a more expensive one. Which was good customer service on their part. The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating.

Liked: Cleanliness
The building is quite impressive, although old & modern dont always blend harmoniously. Suite was decent size -slippers/and or gown would add a nice touch. Deep bath but no bath foam & towel left at other end of room. Hand towel ring was on opposite side of room to basin. Nowhere to put toiletries in shower except floor which not good for older people. We were kept waiting until exactly 3 when all rooms became available. Cleaners had left building earlier. Most places let you in a bit earlier if room ready, especially if you have paid to upgrade room.
Generous tea supplies but a biscuit would have been nice
Breakfast was very slow as 1 poor waiter was serving a busy dining room. No bowls for cereal, only dried fruit. Cooked breakfast arrived almost same time as I started cereals
Nice setting.

Lovely Hotel- but some tlc required
Lovely hotel- very quirky in character - loving the real home fireplace- huge feature as you walk into reception- staff are friendly and welcoming.
The room we occupied was spacious - but needs some tlc- mould around the shower cubicle and mould in the corner of the bedroom wall- which was gathering spiders and not pleasant. The bed was very soft and the pillows were like paper- so not a great nights sleep tbh. No air con in the room as they advise you not to leave the window open due to mosquitos from the lake /river- so you cant really leave the window open. Breakfast was good- bar isnt the cheapest - but overall it was nice stay over.
