Great stay.
Lovely location, beautiful view, clean and nice villa. Had a fantastic night here. Stayed over the rainiest weekend of the year and the front walk was a river of mud but besides that everything was amazing. Hot tub, room, and view were all as advertised. Recommended.

Beautiful quick getaway
Place was clean and cozy and cute. Had a bit of trouble finding it as we didnt know to walk down the path but that's part of the adventure sometimes. On our check out day the weather turned gorgeous. Is a place Id recommend and we'd come back

Beautiful view! Best for small families, not for "private" getaway.
Overall good experience. It is NOT a detached unit, there is a shared wall in all rooms. More like renting a townhome/condo, can hear some noise much like a hotel room. Downstairs deck is really part of owners deck. Carpet needs replacing and could use updating but clean. I'm a big dog owner, but it smelled strong of dog to me. The only beach walking is during low tide, which for my stay was in the middle of the night. No where to walk to from the unit. To me, "Villa" implies it was a seperate building, as did the pictures.

Beachfront stay
The cabin itself was very expensive for its condition. The dining room table is quite old, the roof has moss, parking is some ways away from the unit and the entrance to the unit is quite confusing. Overall the view and the quiet were both reasons I rated this a 3 star property, without those this wasn't even close to worth the money for a night. Also this manager charges a deposit which is charged the moment you sign up for the unit, it's been 3 days since my stay and that deposit is still not credited back to me.

Beautiful getaway
Lovely location, property, and hot tub. House fully stocked with essentials. The view couldn't be beat, Especially from the upstairs porch. The only slight issue was that the beach/ porch front deck area feels partly shared with neighbors (one side only) which was unclear in listing. Note: parking is a 2 minute walk away so bags/groceries need to be carried in a ways. Overall, gorgeous spot and we enjoyed watching a lightning storm and some fireworks with a panoramic view of the water!

Lovely spot on the water!
My daughter and I enjoyed our 2-night stay in this property. It was the perfect size for us. The bed was comfortable and we loved the upstairs deck. Having said that, there were some very strong air-freshener and bleach smells throughout, which is likely due to the fact that pets are allowed. For that reason, I would not stay there again, but I would recommend it to folks with dogs.

Beautiful waterfront views
The home was small but very nicely decorated, and very clean except for a few cobwebs. The location is perfect--right on the water, and so relaxing and beautiful! My only real complaint is that it wasn't very clear from the listing that this property is not a stand-alone building. It didn't feel as private as we would have liked, and I'm not sure we would have booked had we known that it was part of a larger home. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy beach house
What great place to relax and watch the tide with mountain and city views in the distance! There is a Murphy bed in the living room, with a small cooking area and a good-sized table. Upstairs is a bright bedroom with more great views and a king bed. The only bathroom is upstairs if that is important to you. Great place to be with nice community around. Walk on beach, hike in amazing state parks and explore this beautiful place! I hated to leave. Note—it’s a smaller place, but has 2decks with chairs and good seating in the living area.

We would definitely stay here again - and probably will!
My husband, myself, and our best friends popped over for a quick one night break from our kids and to celebrate my birthday. The location is great. Less than 10 minutes from the ferry. The interior is fine, maybe a little worn (like previous reviewers have said, the carpet needs to go), but it wouldn't stop me from selecting this property again. The new couch downstairs is very nice and the bed upstairs is SO comfortable. I slept so deeply, that I was wide awake and refreshed at sunrise, which I got to watch from the balcony off of the master bedroom. The real star of the property is the hot tub. It is PERFECT. When the tide comes in, the water laps mere feet from the deck, and I am convinced that there is nothing better than a hot tub on the beach. Hot water + the cold ocean breeze. It's the best! There seems to be plenty of tasty restaurants in the immediate area. We got take out from Cozy's Roadhouse for dinner and then bagels and coffee the next morning from the Whidbey Island Bagel Factory - both were delicious. We can't wait to return! Only thing perspective guests should know, is that the only bathroom is located upstairs and attached to the master bedroom, which might not be ideal for couples/families. Thanks again Eugene!

Amazing views, comfortable atmosphere and a wonderful place to reset and relax.
We planned this trip last minute and we had no idea what an incredible adventure would be had. The views from both upstairs and downstairs is breathtaking. The beach is steps away from the cabin and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. After beach combing, what a better way to unwind inside a hot tub that sits right next to the water. It was such an incredible, relaxing, beautiful and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back to stay again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get away from everyday life. It’s been an experience we will never forget!

Good for a weekend getaway
This little unit is great for a quick weekend getaway. We decided last minute to get out of town, and were pleased to see this rental was available. Some things to know: 1) It's down a very steep hill, so make sure you're in a car that can handle it. 2) Parking is down the way from your front door. You'll have to walk your belongings down the gravel path a bit (rolling luggage would be best carried). 3) The unit is attached to the rest of the house, however it has it's own entrance. This wasn't clear in the description. That being said, we didn't see anyone else our entire stay. 4) Legit...water came up to the front of the house during high-tide. This was so cool especially when you're taking a soak in the hot tub! 5) Carpet...carpet everywhere. It's my preference to have anything but in a home that's on the waterfront. Especially a dog friendly home. 6) Smells. If you're sensitive to smells then you may have an issue. The cabinets smelled a bit of mold, and the rest of the place had a manufactured "fresh" smell that could only come from over fragranced laundry detergent and a heavy dosing of Febreeze. We came home smelling of it...my sinuses were very unhappy. 7) The place could use a good deep clean. However great the location, it's hard to get past the grimy windowpanes and trim. The linens, bathroom, and fridge seemed clean though. Overall, the rental gets a solid 3 stars from my family due to it's availability on short notice, hot tub, and being dog-friendly. The price was a bit much for what it is, however, I feel if some love and updates were put into this unit it would be a great vacation spot to return to. The current state of the rental will push me to look at other places next time we want to visit Whidbey Island.

Beautiful waterfront view
Nothing like sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Puget Sound and watching the lunar eclipse! We enjoyed our time at this villa. The view is beautiful; we saw a whale and bald eagle. The place is well appointed with everything we needed and the owner was responsive. Not a fan of the memory foam mattress topper, but that's my personal preference. I would go back.
