Deer Lake Getaway - private dock, fire pit and a hot tub!

Come enjoy a stay on Whidbey Island, right on Deer Lake. With close proximity for day trips to Seattle, Port Townsend, Anacortes, and the San Juan Islands, you can stay put, or travel around. Plenty of shopping, parks and beaches, hiking spots, and great eats all close by, you may not want to travel all that far! This wonderfully private 3 bedroom/3 bath home can accommodate up to 6 guests quite comfortably. You may bring a dog with you but they must be approved prior to your arrival.

All three bedrooms are upstairs. A room with a queen bed that overlooks the lake, a large 'kids' room with a full bed and a twin bed and a large master suite with a King size bed. The master suite has it's own deck overlooking the lake, a wonderful view tub in its own bathroom and a television. There is a second full bathroom shared by the other two bedrooms.

The main floor has a large kitchen & dining room that leads out to the deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen is quite spacious and is well equipped for preparing meals. There is a bathroom with a shower on the main floor and full size washer & dryer.

The living room has large windows to take in the beautiful view of the lake. The television and stereo system are in the den with a large collection of movies, games and books for the whole family. We have speakers out on the deck too!

Deer Lake is a great spot for swimming, fishing and boating. You are welcome to bring your ski boat or kayak.

Our Deer Lake Getaway is just a couple of miles from the Clinton ferry terminal and a short drive to Langley. It's the perfect place for a getaway and to explore beautiful Whidbey Island. Come relax and enjoy this private retreat from the busy world!

Beautiful Home on Deer Lake
We travelled to Whidbey to attend a wedding. This home was perfect for the 6 of us during our stay. Beautiful views each morning and convenient location close to shopping. Lovely Deer Lake Getaway
Beautiful location, close to the amazing grocery store the goose. There's shopping and restaurants in Langley. A 7 minute drive to the Clinton to Mukilteo Ferry. A nice spot for day trips up to all the Whidbey Island attractions. The house is comfortable, nice beds with good pillows and fluffy comforters, a huge *completely* stocked kitchen. Every soap in the house is high quality fully stocked bathrooms, washing machine/dryer, and dishwasher. The dock is great, we spent a lot of time playing basketball and looking at the view. Comfy couches. Fully stocked huge kitchen, dog and kid friendly. Enclosed area for your dog. Huge blackberry bush. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back. Great communication from Patty and Paul, lovely hosts.

Wonderful Stay
What a great lake house! We were five adults and a small dog with ample room and lots of space! Exactly as pictured. Whenever we had a question Patti responded quickly and she was so nice! Perfectly located between the ferry dock and Langley. Kitchen is stocked with all cooking equipment but bring your own condiments and cooking oil. The master bedroom mattress is on the softer side and is great for side sleepers. I’m one of the few who sleep on their back so it was uncomfortable for me, but nothing a soak in the hot tub wouldn’t fix!

We enjoyed staying at this property! The 81 acre lake was a wonderful escape for my guys using the kayaks to fish. We also did a lot of day trips to Langley, Port Townsend, Fort Casey and other beaches in the area.

Good communication, clean house, and great location for swimming, fishing, farmers market, and relaxing. House had two 10-1/2’ stand-up paddle boards available (fun). Not far from Clinton ferry terminal. Will come back again.

Relaxing Stay
The end-of-the-road location of this rental makes it an inviting respite from a busy life. Our weather improved during the week and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the deck overlooking the lake. Beds were very comfortable and the 3rd bath and high end laundry facilities were appreciated. This property easily met all of our needs on this quiet island.

The views were amazing while soaking in the hot tub on the lake. We were in town for work so we were not able to fully experience the area but we were greeted by the host promptly and met with a level of kindness that knows no equal. I would recommend this hideaway to anyone.

This house is amazing.
We loved the spacious rooms, the deck was perfect and the hot tub was great. They had everything we needed to cook, rest, relax, pick blackberries and it was so centrally located; a short drive to a store, wineries, nurseries, and Langley for restaurants. We didn't swim in the lake, but will plan to on our next visit It's a gem.

Our fifth summer at the lake house
This was our fifth summer at the lake house. Our family keeps going to the house because of good fishing and swimming lake access, clean house, and good communication with owners. We caught large mouth bass from the dock and rainbow trout from the row boat. The hot tub was a plus.

Lovely Lake
Nice home with great view/deck/hot tub. Comfortable beds & well stocked kitchen. Good location - close to Mukilteo Ferry terminal. Nice quiet lake. We used our paddle boards off the private dock on the property. Whidbey Island is a gem. We enjoyed hikes with stunning scenery everywhere we went.

Great retreat
The location was super convenient to the ferry. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well stocked with things needed to cook. We had hoped to fish but missed that fishing didn’t open on the lake until April 24th. We still enjoyed our time gazing at the lake and using it as a base for day trips. We wish the window coverings were a little more substantial to keep the light out for our kids to stay asleep and also provide privacy in the bathrooms. Overall, a great stay!

A few girlfriends and I stayed together at this relaxing Whidbey property. We were happy with the cleanliness of the whole house and the full kitchen. The lower backyard has a firepit, and dock/water access. It is so close to the ferry, and a short drive to nearby Langley where we had delicious choices of lunch & dinner (take-out). We highly recommend for a getaway trip. - Host was prompt to respond via email (usually 24-48 hours) - Dock access was a plus. There is a row boat with paddles - Hot Tub was clean and the temperature got up to 103 degrees fahrenheit. - Towels were provided, both bath & hot tub towels - Ample amount of space to lounge, living room has remote-controlled fire, lots of natural lighting throughout the home. - We will be back! Some normal during the pandemic
When we first came upon the property it was exactly as portrayed in the listing. A beautiful home at the bottom of a hill overlooking the water. We needed a little bit of normal after the last year and this place helped us get there. The hot tub overlooking the water and large open deck were a welcome retreat and the quiet and somewhat secluded neighborhood allowed us to have a great time without worry. The management team was extremely responsive and has done a brilliant job of keeping lists of local restaurants/hikes/activities available for all as well general rules about the town. We can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay and can't wait to do it again.
