Barn house stay near Palisade, hot tub and views!

Come enjoy country views just 4.1 miles from downtown Palisade. This adorable mother in law "barn" is located right behind our main living house. We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield looming to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best!

Our "barn" has 1 real bedroom with a king bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs in a loft. Please note that it is very open and there is no door, so if privacy is important to you, the second bedroom is not private. The pull out couch is located in the main open living area. We have a full kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, and lots of cooking utensils. If you are booking this space for 6 people, please remember that there is only 1 bathroom and it is small but efficient.
We live across from the barn and we have 2 small children and a busy life so you will likely see us out and about. We have a black cat named River and some chickens who like to come visit.
The outdoor space: We love our yard and we hope you do too! We have a graveled patio with a gas fireplace for you to enjoy. The hot tub is situated between your barn and our house and we don't use it if you're in it. It's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We like to make this as comfortable for you as we can, but we also live here and sometimes need a soak too! :)
We have an outdoor patio with seating for 6 and a gas BBQ.

Lovely... perfect for personal retreat
OMG this was just so perfect for me. I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place to write some music and do some dreaming... this was THE place. The chickens, views, super comfortable bed, and plenty of surfaces on which to spread out and work. So clean and thoughtfully appointed! Thank you for the experience...i really needed it!

The Red Barn exceeded our expectations. The place was beautifully decorated with more than adequate furnishings and amazing attention to detail. Felt like a home. The country setting was SO peaceful with beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub and loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening. We also enjoyed watching the chickens. Absolutely lovely setting and accommodation. VERY HIGHLY recommend!!!

My sister , nephews, and I stayed here for her birthday trip. Beautiful, clean and quiet. The house was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed being able to spread out a bit, play games and spend time together. The boys used the hot tub.

Everything was extremely clean and placement of random things such as blankets and towels were thoughtful. There isn't any loud roosters at the crack of dawn, and the kids loved seeing all the animals around the property. Thank you!

Right at home!
We really did feel right at home at this nice family farm. The house is very clean and well supplied. Great location for skiing, visiting the Colorado National monument, Mesa, and other national parks!

Great stay
Excellent place for relaxation and cleanliness! Although the barn is directly behind the host’s home, your privacy is highly respected. The hosts are so accommodating and provide most essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The hosts even provided us with farm fresh chicken eggs (we were lucky the hens cooperated that day!) i highly recommend this place and the hosts.

The barn was beautiful - comfy beds, well equipped kitchen (and a cupboard with some essential items) and the appliances were terrifc. Comfy seating in the living room. Lots of extra blankets incase of a cold spell. The best part for my husband was the amazing grill. And the fresh eggs from their hens were quite a treat. We will be coming back!!

Perfect Location
Very close to Grand Junction and the wineries in Palisade. Owners provided Gevalia coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens on the property. My wife and I were very entertained by watching the chickens (and Tom Tom the turkey) from the window. Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in the area.

Beautiful property! Had everything we needed and more! Tastefully decorated and welcoming.Everything was well thought out down to the details. Our children loved the chickens,cat,dog. Relaxing Getaway
The perfect place to stay to explore all that Palisade has to offer. Well within biking distance to just about all of the wineries and restaurants in the area, and all the amenities to relax after a long day. Leah was a welcoming and communicative host and did an amazing job at making us feel at home. The fresh eggs were an unexpected surprise

Beautiful Barn House
We loved our stay at the Barn House. It was larger than we expected and was very comfortable and clean. I loved the view out of the kitchen window in the morning of the horses grazing in the field. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed all of the amazing amenities this property offers. Highly recommend. Just be aware of the requirement for a large deposit or purchase of damage insurance on top of the rental price.

Charming
The red barn was very clean and charming. We got in a bit later than expected and host left the lights on for us! The chickens were fun to feed them our leftover pizza (crust). Wish we had more time to enjoy the other amenities but we were just passing through and on a tight schedule. Would stay again if ever come back this way.
