"Overall the property was great. The loft would get very warm when running the heater downstairs. Understanding heat rises and do not feel anything could be done to help this in loft style cabin. Not sure the age of the cabin, but door latches probably need to be replaced. Could easily get locked into bathroom and hall close was the same way. We had to remove door know from bathroom and put back on once we left. Was looking to replace myself but of course no hardware store in Alpine had...

A few misleading items we noticed, trying to get an RV into the space is difficult due to the trees, the power to the RV space had been hit prior to our arrival so the post it was mounted to was leaning pretty bad and we were unsure if safe to use so it wasn’t. They say they have a charcoal grill however it only had a half rack which made cooking a lot at once impossible. There was only 1 extra roll of toilet paper for two...

"Several family member rented 3 cabins for this family trip. It was great to have such a peaceful place. The cabins were clean and had what we needed. Yes, there is no tv or WiFi but we knew that and had a great time with nature and playing games and eating. It was nice to unwind and enjoy. "

"The cabins are roomy. The beds are fine--we all slept very well. The property is very quiet. The elk came and visited in the morning. There are outside grills and inside kitchens. The stove is gas and works well. The refrigerator kept the beer very cold. The toilet is a little small for my big butt, but it worked fine. If you got a little butt it's perfect. "This cabin had a pin drop 30 minutes away from where it is actually located. The listing also states it is located in a different area. The cabin was very clean but very very run down. The kitchen stove had propane leaking that forced us to keep windows open during the entire stay. The bathroom had a leaking toilet that that staff had placed a glass vase under. Farmhouse Retreat with deck and fire pit, very family friendly & great location

"It is obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought and work into this house. It appears to be one of the very old adobe houses, which can be found throughout the area. I give them five stars for both the cleanliness and decor. There were only some very minor complaints; the toilet paper holder easily falls off the wall in the master bedroom. The bed in the Master bedroom was too tall for my wife to easily get on, much less use as a seat for either of us while changing clothes. The master bedroom was surprisingly cold in the mornings, while the rest of the house was warm. The faux fire place doesn't actually work. These are very minor complaints, which I hesitate to mention. . But the overall sense of the place was wonderful! I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. "
