Welcome to Acadia Farms!! This 10 acre horse farm is filled with a rich history of Industrial Titans, and U.S Presidents. This North East Ohio Gem was originially owned and built by Cyrus Eaton, who was most known for founding one of the largest steel companies in the U.S. He also was the "protege" of the wealthest industrialists in the world at the time, John D Rockefeller. This farm became well known as a horse and cattle farm, which became the home of several nationally acclaimed show horses and cattle. President Eisenhower and John D Rockefeller were 2 of many well know figures in American history that have been known to stay and visit at the farm.
This large historical home has 6 bedrooms, and 9 beds. It can accommodate up to 18 adults, with comfort and plenty of space. It has 3.5 bathrooms, a very large living room, a "kings den", and a very large well equipped kitchen. All 6 of the bedrooms (9 queen beds in total) are on the 2nd floor, with 3 full bathrooms, and a small tv room area also. Outside there is plenty to explore. It has a large grass area with a play area for the kids to enjoy, and a large gathering area for the adults right outside of the home. It has several areas where the horses can be seen from the house roaming in the fields, and a barn that is occupied by several goats and ponies. Whether you're looking for a place for a family gathering, a corporate retreat, lodging for a wedding party or just a place to rest your head while you explore the area, we can accommodate!!
