This is a Non smoking unit on our end but our apartment building does allow living tenates to smoke. We do have a air purification system and Purodora odor cleanser to combat it.

Great neighborhood and big unit
The unit was nice and spacious. Great place to stay for a night, the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe to walk at night. The front door was a bit difficult to open from the inside and outside, which I did know about from reading other reviews and such but it still felt like a fire hazard at first but we eventually got the hang of it. I would advice to park on the street, the city makes it super easy to register your car for the night online to park overnight without a ticket instead of trying to fit into the parking garage entrance.

Cute convenient apartment
The apartment is in a great neighborhood Check in instructions were clear, easy to park but getting inside the actual apartment was difficult at times due to the broken lock on the door & lack of lighting in the hallway The inside of apartment is great , comfortable bed ; kitchen could use a few more items such as can / bottle opener & fry pan.

Very confusing instructions for check in owner not available, spent an hour trying to get it resolved with Vrbo finally gave up and Vrbo paid for me to stay at the super nice Glidden House hotel, so did not use this place at all. Third floor walk up in an old funky building, but very nicel neighborhood

Convenient good apartment but needs a few fixing
The stay was pleasant and the apartment was nice and as shown in listing. Martin was kind and checked with me before arrival. The bathroom was clean and thanks for the clean and good quality towels. But the following suggestions would add more value to the rental. First thing the kitchen needs some work. Coffee machine didn't work properly, the cooking utensils were inadequate/poor quality, no toaster, no cleaning sponge for washing dishes (no dishwasher). 2nd, the king bed with many pillows was comfy but we needed extra sheet/quilt/blanket which were not available. 3rd, the lock on the main door would need to be replaced, the opening and closing was finicky. But overall a good value for money. Thank you.

Overlook Road
This is a lovely building and neighborhood. Through no fault of the host there were issues with getting into the building. The entry door to the building was tough with the key. The door to the apartment was tricky and the overhead light was burned out. The host tried to provide additional lighting but it didn’t work either. Apparently building maintenance was at fault. Having said that we did enjoy the lodging. Very walkable neighborhood and near the Coventry area and Little Italy. I would stay here again. Thanks

My stay at Lakeview Gardens
Although this building is certainly showing its age, the accommodations were comfortable, and the location could not have been better: a very quick walk to Lake View Cemetery (featuring the Haserot Angel and Garfield Memorial), Coventry Village, and Case/University Circle (MOCA, CMA, Severance Hall, and Wade Oval). Controlling the shower temperature was difficult, likely due to the age of the plumbing and fixtures and the distance from the boiler. The apartment stayed cool despite some 80ºf/27ºc days, despite being a top-floor unit (these old Rockefeller-era apartment buildings are notorious for being reliably hot in the summer and cold in the winter). The arrangement of the TV room is a bit perplexing, with perpendicular couches on either side of the TV. I did not have the opportunity to use the stove or oven.

Weekend in Cleveland Heights
Truly charming accommodations for our vacation ! Easy walk to Little.Italy, museum of art.The rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable, with a classic atmosphere that still included all of the modern amenities you'd want. We think C.G.M. Lakeview Gardens is a real gem, and we would definitely stay there again !

Perfect for our needs!
We came in for a wedding which was about a 10 min drive away. The place was perfect for us. Super comfortable beds and clean all around. I read in another review questions about the neighborhood and I don't get it - it's really a beautiful area - plenty of young working people. The opening to their garage was tight (my SUV barely managed to squeeze in), but garage was huge once in. There is a dog on the first floor who barked when we arrived and left but then never heard from again. Our host was very responsive (had a little trouble with the doors at first, but worked it out quickly). Not fancy - but certainly not dumpy either!

Last minute one-night stay
Very spacious, well-equipped apartment. Host was very friendly and responsive, communicated very well. I have one recommendation regarding parking: entry into the parking garage is narrow; I did not think I could squeeze in with a Honda Odyssey without damaging it. My recommendation is to go for street parking if just staying overnight -- it requires a free online registration with the city (can be done ahead of time). The downside is that street parking is limited to 3 hours starting at 7AM Mo-Fr.
