I submitted 3 different messages (approximately once a month) prior to our arrival seeking transportation recommendations. I never received a single response. The day we arrived, we followed the check-in instructions & Step 4 when it said to select “Always Hampton, LLC” no one picked up. We tried 3 times before someone answered. The man firmly stated that the instructions we were given were incorrect. We asked him for help & what we should do to get in the building & he said he didn’t know. Luckily another group was going into the building & allowed us to enter with them.
Once we got up to our place it was very nice looking & clean. Two separate locking bedrooms each with their own bathroom on opposite ends of the place which was very nice for our needs. I’ve stayed in several VRBO’s before so I looked for the welcome letter/binder but we couldn’t find anything. No welcome beverages, food, snacks; no recommendations for sites to visit, entertainment, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, supplies; no expectations about taking care of the property or checking out; no helpful information of where to go or who to contact if…. Absolutely nothing!
Then after 3 days, our key FOB to the building stopped working. Again we waited in the rain for another group to come along to allow us inside. The host finally returned our call and gave us a code that should’ve been given at check in. We had to use the code the remainder of the trip. Access & communication was a nightmare.
