"Pub is lovely, great atmosphere, outdoor winter seating was cosy and a real selling point. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. It could have done with a more powerful shower. Slightly disappointed as didn't realise we would be staying away from the pub. We were waiting just over an hour to check in because our room wasn't ready. Booked in for breakfast for half 9, unfortunately by the time we had had our cooked breakfast we went to get pastries...

"It was awesome! The food was great! We stayed in Room 29 (the haunted room) but no spirits were playing except for hiding the TV remote control which we found under the bed on the old fireplace step!!"

"This was a stop-off for us on our way to visit our Grandson in Suffolk. The hotel was very clean including our double room. Our only criticism was that we were told at checkin that breakfast was served up to 11am. We went down at 10:15 only to be told that they stopped at 10:00 but that they could provide pastries which wasn't what we wanted or paid for. That being said, the Duty Manager was very good and arranged a refund straight away. Great location for access to the City !"
