"This house is absolutely perfect for a family or small get together. The layout allows plenty of space for everyone, everything was very clean, the home is fully stocked with everything you may need, and is decorated adorably to give the coziest vibe! The small town has a great bar/restaurant and the drive to Saint Cloud or Minneapolis isn’t bad at all! We absolutely loved staying here and plan on coming back to enjoy it in the summer! "

Was the perfect MN winter weekend to relax by the fireplace in a cabin, visit, laugh, play games, cook and enjoy life. The large windows lake-site view was beautiful. "Lake life was quiet. Feels secluded without any neighborhood traffic. Safe place for pet. Some dust and cobwebs but that adds to the vintage feel of the cabin. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was an ideal location for our family to gather from out-of-state. The home was comfortable and nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday. The kitchen had all the things we needed to easily prepare meals for our group. The bedrooms were comfortable and having three full bathrooms was ideal."

"The place was perfect for our little family gathering. Was great to get out on the lake with all the amenities provided. Less stress. What we were looking for. Very relaxing for all that stayed. The only thing was the cleanliness. The ceiling fans were dusty so when we turned them on the dust was flying, and the shower was a bit dirty. Also, the water issue was a little to get used to, understandable since I think it was well water, to get a good stream of water, it took a while. Water...

"We had a group of parents stay at the Big Bear Lake Home for parent weekend at CSB/SJU. We had an absolute blast. The accommodations were wonderful. Brett has used every inch of that place. There were so many fun nooks and crannys. He's thought of everything. It was fun to have a place to all gather. The location was great from both St Bens, and St Johns. "Cabin was charming and the perfect size for our family of 5 to escape to the woods. Lots of places for the kids to explore, beautiful private and quiet beach. Host was extremely accommodating and responsive. "

"Great property if you need to get away and unplug. Close to St. Cloud if you want to do some shopping. Flea market on Saturday's is a good time. Cabin doesn't have a TV and pictures make it look larger than it is, but that didn't bother us at all. Had a fire every night, close to the water to kayak. There's a bunk house that offers some water toys if you don't have any of your own. "

"My family (plus extended family) travels to St. Cloud every year for Thanksgiving. We usually stay in hotels (about 4 rooms for 2 nights, sometimes at different hotels). This was an amazing upgrade as we had space for everybody to visit and everything we needed to cook our feast. Our host was gracious, the house was spacious and clean, and the property was beautiful (I wish Thanksgiving was in the summer so we could enjoy the outside too). This was our favorite Thanksgiving trip so far."
