The overall experience was not bad, however there were issues. To get straight to the point, there were 22 of us staying there, and although it was supposed to ''sleep 22", there were people sleeping on couches because there were not enough mattresses. Also, there was a major issue with blankets, not enough blankets to accommodate 22 people. Another BIG issue was the hot tub. If you are going to advertise that you have a hot tub, make you you get a strong enough heater. The heater was so weak, it took three hours for the hot tub to go up 1 degree Fahrenheit. The hot tub never got above 102, and when you get into it to enjoy, the temperature reduced down to 98 within half and hour. The bathroom situations were also very inconvenient. When I messaged the owner, he was prompt to respond, however being far removed he just directed me to the property managers who weren't much help. The fireplace had some issues turning on initially. Also, some of the bunk beds looked really old, like they were bolted together and about to come apart. Advice to the owner, don't skimp and cut costs. Put some money into the property to make this an enjoyable stay for guests. Stronger hot tub heater, more mattresses, more blankets, and newer bunk beds would be a good start. Overall stay was not bad, just these things need to be fixed. Weak hot tub is a nonstarter for most of these winter cabin-like places.
