"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest.
