Loveliest stay ever!
I cannot recommend this cabin enough. My family and I keep coming back because it's wonderful, quaint, and quiet. An easy trip down to the river, and a beautiful property overall. Virginia, the owner, is very communicative and friendly. We always love this cabin and we know you will too!

Autumn trip to Cook Forest
Cottage is comfotable and clean, the river is a short walk through the woods, outdoor space includes a deck, 3 season room, hot tub, and fire ring. Very nice. Kitchen is well equipped, however skimpily stocked. No sugar, aluminum foil, basic spices? Even the salt shakers were empty. A starter bundle of fire wood would have been appreciated.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Located right on the Clarion river, you couldn't ask for a better location. The cottage was clean, easy check in and check out and the owner was easy to communicate with. We will be back for another stay in the future! Perfect getaway for a family and pets to enjoy the river from the back yard...take hikes..and relax in the hot tub. The house was fully stocked with all necessities and so cozy. Really enjoyed ourselves and hope make this a yearly tradition!

Nice getaway in the forest along the Clarion River. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, hot tub and fully equipped kitchen. Not easy access to the river, but close to a nice canoe livery.

Spacious woodsy retreat
Stayed 2 nights, 4 of us in 3 generations, to be closer drive to eclipse totality without overcrowded setting. Fulfilled our hopes and beyond with full kitchen, cozy seating, plenty of room for family time and privacy. Love the picturesque backyard trees with fairytale path to river. Find the 2nd Full BR downstairs in clean and open basement. Wonderful find!

Clear creek cabin
Clear Creek Cottage was located in a pleasant wooded area close to Cook Forest State Park and Clear Creek State Park. The Clarion River goes right through the backyard! The cottage was clean and all the amenities were in good working order.

Perfect quiet getaway
My family really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed with our two young children (3 & 4yo). We loved the proximity to all the hiking trails but being far enough away to be secluded and quiet. The size of the house was perfect to allow the kids room to run around and play. Being right on the river was fantastic! The only struggle we had was with the steep grade getting down to the river from the yard. With no clear path, the drop off made it difficult to manage, especially with the young kids, but we made it work. Virginia was a wonderful host, and made everything very easy. While we no longer have a dog to join us on our trips like we have in the past, I love how inviting this property and host was for dogs. My black lab would have absolutely adored the access to the river and the large yard. I would 100% recommend this place!

House was very clean and spacious. It was in a great location and allowed access to several different areas. Inside and outside areas were great for relaxing. Great communication with owner. The long weekend just wasn't long enough!

Relaxation Away from Home
We had a wonderful week at the cottage. We hiked in nearby State Parks and returned to the cottage for dinner and an evening dip in the hot tub. The cottage had everything we needed. We walked down to the Clarion River each day to view the river flowing by while sitting under the tree canopy.

Perfect Forest Getaway
Virginia's place had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and also had lots of space to take shelter when it rained. A short walk puts you at the river's edge, and a short drive gets you to all that Cook's forest has to offer. Cousin Basil's restaurant is close and has great food, but if you feel like cooking the kitchen has very nice appliances and all the cookware you would need. All of the indoor spaces were very comfortable and the place was welcoming and clean. We had a wonderful stay!
