"Tremendous country location steeped in history. Peaceful and quiet with lots of outside things to do. Finola was a very gracious host, who provided a wealth of recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Upon our arrival, Finola was there to greet us and had the fireplace going to stave off the damp, chilly spring weather. Great hiking in the area. Ventured to Galway and Cong for day trips. "The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. "Unfortunately this was a work trip so I didn’t get to explore the beautiful countryside as much as I would have liked but the cottage was absolutely beautiful. Really well equipped and comfortable. The owners Seán & Suzi were warm and welcoming. Great place to come back to after a hard days work but I would love to bring the family back for a wee holiday sometime. First class. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
