Alex was at the front desk, he fixed my reservation and then cleaned the room. Alex is a perfect example of a great hard working employee. He should be running the place. Great job! Thanks again.
I will never stay in this TOWN again. Trains come through blowing their horn (200 yards away) every hour all night long. The hotel is dirty and worn out (carpet was filthy). Needs a deep clean and refresh.
Overall the stay was great as it usually is with a Hampton Inn. Super clean, well kept, and very friendly staff. The only reasons for 4 stars and not 5 are that the mattress was on the older side and not super comfortable and the listing clearly stated there was a hot tub as well as and indoor pool. There was a pool but NO hot tub and honestly that was a huge factor in choosing that property.
I immediately checked the beds as soon as I arrived and found bed bugs! No refunds is what the front desk said but they could move the room and offer a free snack. The hotel manager and maid said in the morning that there were none. They acted like I was crazy. There definitely was and they were very active.
Only issue we had was as a wedding group was a rude assistant manager. The group asked to rent out the bigger conference room, after we realized the free room wasn’t big enough. He proceeded to tell the group with his unpleasant demeanor ,that he wouldn’t rent that room to us, and that we had to be done at 11 o’clock.
The hotel is in disrepair. The areas around the tub were gross the curtains in my room ripped wallpaper as coming off the wall There was garbage all over the parking lot. Just not good or cheap.
It was definitely a bright spot to a long day. We tried to stay somewhere else and it was not good! So glad to find what might have been the last room at the Hampton Inn.
We were here in Claremore when the tornado went through last weekend, so we understood why there's no pool and no cable right now. Fortunately, the WiFi is working, and I had my Roku with me, so we were able to watch that. The room is beautiful and HUGE! Loving it! And the check-in staff was amazing!!!
