"Perfect stay in the old Schoolhouse, John was very helpful when we met to go over details of the house. Location couldn’t be more ideal for exploring the area. Gort has nice restaurants, pubs. Grocery shopping options are Lidl, Aldi,SuperValu. Would love stay again in the near future "

"The property is lovely and spacious, clearly recently renovated. Its off the beaten track (which we like) but a quick drive into Galway or off to various sites. Kathleen was one of the most communicative and proactive hosts we've had on VRBO, reaching out several times before we arrived, and checking in with us while we were there. She even looked over the property for us after we left, searching for some lost items. The kitchen and the bedrooms were conveniently stocked and comfortable, and...

"Fanore is great, right on the coast with a fantastic view and remote but with a shop and pub very local, which were both great. Walk on a side road to the beach took about 15-20 mins and there were many places we accessed by car on days out too. House was a great size, was in need of some refurbishment downstairs, upstairs has more recently been done I think. The garden was a good size and great off road parking. Hosts were available for any questions and check in and out were smooth. "

"We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"
