"Lenny (the dog) and his humans host a truly wonderful B&B. It is a truly beautiful mix of old and new, everything is charming and comfortable and well done. Reg and Sue know the area well and are happy to sit for a chat and make recommendations. It was the high point of an 8-day journey in France and I cannot recommend it enough. "

"The best think about this place is the owners...they are delightful. We spoke little French and they spoke little English but with a little help from Google translate all was well. The only things worth mentioning for other travellers to bear in mind is that the property is a good 15 kilometres from the nearest place to eat and is in a very rural setting. However, the breakfast is a must with the best coffee of the 8 places we have stayed in during our France Andorra Spain Belgium road trip....

"I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! "Beautiful rural area with spectacular views and nature. The Gite was gorgeous, clean and well equipped with spacious rooms, comfy beds and a lovely swimming pool with an incredible view. Our hosts, Didier and Elizabeth were very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful stay with our two teenagers. It is the ideal place to relax and take time out for a well needed break in the middle of nature, with the Pyrenees providing a stunning backdrop. There are plenty of lovely walks, forests and lakes...
