"This hotel is located 3 blocks from the presidential place and the adjacent green spaces. The hotel itself is quiet. There is usually security at the door. The front desk staff are very helpful. For example in securing taxi's that will take credit card payment (which is not always possible) and telling us the cost (beware of cab scams!). Our room was a good size. The lounge was beautiful we opted to eat light meals there a couple of times and were very pleased with the food. "

"Our stay at this funky 1920’s theme and historical hotel was excellent. The room was well appointed. The staff at the front desk spoke good English also, which made our stay easier. They stored our bags also for a few days which made our side trip more comfortable. The roof top bar was very nice and looked out at many roof top domes around the building. It also served tapas.The location was good- walking distance to many attractions. The area was fine, though I wouldn’t go walking at night. Breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!"

"Large rooms with comfortable beds. Nicely decorated with plenty of storage. The concierge Gabriel was simply wonderful. He provided lots of recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!"

"The Principado has an excellent location. The rooms are a nice size. Everything is clean. The staff is friendly. Prices are good. The breakfast is good and the workout room is sufficient. However, there's not a coffee maker."
