"Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. Trees for shade planted and in a few years will be great in the summer. Great location. Close to downtown Great Barrington. Across the street from a nice park with short trails. "

"We love being there do we extended our stay. Would have liked to stay even longer. Very relaxing and peaceful."

"Tv was horrible hard to hear. Place was old and run down. Room not stocked with tissue. No plug in bathroom sink. . Ice machine broken. Simple things like cover of coffee didn’t fit. Very small continental breakfast. "

"Little Lion Inn provides very basic services in very clean facilities with a welcome atmosphere at the Red Lion Inn. a few miles up the road. There is nothing very remarkable about the property — but the Berkshires provide plenty of opportunities for beauty, well designed gardens, places to walk and relax."

"We usually stay once a year here while visiting Lime Rock track. Always a great experience. Staff are super nice and go beyond to make sure everything is perfect."
