Casetta Arco is a bright studio located over the white alleys of Cisternino, with a balcony facing its historic centre. The accommodation develops in a welcoming open space built over a beautiful and antique archway. Stepping in, guests will find a double sofa bed on the right and a fully equipped kitchen on the left, provided with an oven, in addition to a dining area with TV. The unique location adds elegance and peculiarity to the studio which, albeit small, offers every comfort and is near several bars and shops. Moreover, the sunlight passes through the whole space thanks to the balcony and the main entrance, which overlooks the opposite sides of the archway.
Finally, a full bathroom with shower completes the property, together with the heating for winter days.

Cisternino is one of the most beautiful italian hamlets, in Valle d’Itria. The most valuable sites are the historic centre with the norman-german Tower and the Church of San Nicola, the so called “Chiesa Madre”, the rural area and its ancient “trulli” all around. Architecture, culture, social identity and food are all traits of this town, in particular the white houses, alleys, yards and the typical roasted “bombette” and wine. This makes Cisternino a place where time seems to stand still, together with its old traditions.
Our guests can easily discover the amazing places of our countryside from Cisternino: Ceglie Messapica, historic town with a strong food and wine tradition, Ostuni, the famous Pearl of Valle d’Itria and Alberobello, famous for its ancient dwellings “trulli”, world heritage since 1996.
25 kms north our guests can visit the Archeological Site of Egnazia, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli, old fishermen villages with evocative old towns and enchanting beaches. Going further north, guests can find Bari, Eastern threshold, meanwhile towards south there is the Marine protected area of Torre Guaceto, Brindisi and Lecce, capital of Barocco. Taranto, the heart of Magna Grecia (ancient Greece) is located west, and then guests can find Matera, particularly known for its “Sassi” (ancient cave dwellings) and nominated European capital of culture for 2019.

Brindisi (50 minutes) and Bari (80 minutes) are the closest airports to Cisternino.
