"We were both baffled by the 5 star reviews for this place. The views from the property are amazing but on arrival we weren’t greeted and had to ask for a key having explained we’d made a booking. We were then left to work out where our room was, trying to make it obvious we were unsure where to go. There was no introduction, no mention of dinner and the atmosphere very awkward. "We were so happy to have found this lovely villa, with its own pool and sea views. We watched the sunset at the nearby cove. The villa is well presented, with some great touches (like a warm outside shower plus 2 inside bathrooms) and the host is so lovely and helpful. A car is a must but it means the villa is in a quiet, peaceful location. What a beautiful part of Italy."

"The booking and check in process were easy. Our host, Antonio, met us at the apartment even though we were delayed for several hours. The location is in Baia del Carpino, with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Because we stayed off-season, some shops and restaurants in the area were closed, but everything you need is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay."
