"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"Antonio and Sylvia are amazing! They greeted us when we got there, and took us through the house. Then they were readily available whenever we had questions, via text or email was best. Then when we left, they gave us the most thoughtful gift to remember our vacation. The view from the house over the towns is unmatched and we had so much fun in the evenings sitting out on the patio playing cards or just talking. We highly recommend this house!"

"Beautiful villa only 2.5 miles from center of Lucca, but felt worlds away. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was conveniently placed close to local amenities (grocery store, etc.). Wonderful outdoor sitting/eating areas and local Osteria (5’ walk) was excellent (had dinner there twice in 4 days). Local church bells tolling on the hour just added to the charm of the setting! Above all, Luciano was a gracious and informative host. We would love to come back someday for another stay...

"Views to die for. Very private in a tiny village this was a very nice place to stay. Rina was a great host and by friendly. There is a little shop in the next village that we would walk to to get lunch. Bagni di Lucca is the local town, 15 minutes down the hill with lot of shops and restaurants. We spent most of the time relaxing at the villa but did enjoy a visit to Lucca."

"We are big coffee drinkers and found that once we figured out how to use the Moka pots, we thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee while overlooking the countryside. Travel to Montespertoli for a quick gelato or bite to eat was quite easy, so even though the property is wonderfully private, it is not too far from things to do. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation with memories to last a lifetime!"

"We had a wonderful 3 week stay with 8 adults and later 8 adults and 2 children. The property was as depicted with well maintained pool and yard, outdoor dining area, well equipped kitchen. It is on 3 levels with connecting spiral staircase plus a loft. Sarah was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. Bagni di Lucca is well past its glory days, but still charming and a short rather steep walk from the house. This is not the Tuscany we imaged with vistas of rolling hills and hilltop towns:...
