All the glowing reviews I read were spot on—this is quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, set in a peaceful country location, yet surrounded by plenty of nearby dining options. The motel-style layout allowed me to park right in front of my room, offering the kind of privacy I love, but with the quaint charm and class of a boutique inn.
Everything was impeccably clean, both inside and out. The decor had a unique, old-fashioned feel, yet the space looked brand new—nothing was run down or worn. The room was quiet, the bed was soft yet supportive, and I haven’t slept that well in ages.
The staff was just as exceptional—genuine, friendly, down-to-earth, and incredibly generous. I was even offered a room upgrade for a very reasonable price. And as a bonus, I was greeted by the sweetest little King Spaniel, Francie, at check-in and again at checkout. I truly can’t wait to come back!
