The staff were amazing and the breakfast was fresh. The bed was SO comfy along with the pillows. We stayed in a newly renovated room but it wasn't all good. The toilet ran the entire time. The fridge top was broken. The light was flashing on the phone and I couldn't get it to stop. It was just annoying at night, if you have light sensitivity when sleeping. Most importantly, I took a late afternoon shower (so not a common time to shower) and shivered through it on the hottest water setting. I didn't even wash my hair because I had so many goosebumps from it being almost cold. Somethings happen but the cold shower was hard for me to miss. The walls were super thin and we heard EVERYTHING. So, keep that in mind, as well. You can see light around the door seeping through. Which is where most of the sound pollution came from.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, however, there was construction throughout the building which was a bit noisy and messy. This property is under construction for new updates. The pool and 1st floor are being worked on first. The staff that checked us in was very helpful and was able to give us a king bed instead of a queen. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and the pancakes were a nice change instrad of waffles. A little hard to get to but i would stay again.

The hotel was undergoing some renovation, so there was a lot of construction material just off the lobby. I found the breakfast area and the complementary breakfast to be great. A very nice selection of breakfast foods, coffee and tea available 24h and a beautiful dining area. The small business center was located off the dining room. The room was clean and modern looking. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I did have a problem with noise. The floorboards on the room above squeaked as people walked around. When I checked in, there was no one at the desk. I rang the bell and someone came to help a minute later. I noticed that a plate of cookies was put out for the evening arrivals. I thought that was thoughtful, and enjoyable. I would stay there again, hopefully when the renovation has been completed.

The breakfast was real good. The shower water pressure was extremely low. Slamming doors all through the night. It was very loud. I did not get a lot of rest. The bathtub was easy to slip in and felt dirty.

We were so happy to have an included breakfast that still had eggs, sausage, pancakes and so much more! A lot of hotels now is just grab and go type of things and I have missed the traditional continental breakfast!!

This is our go to when we come to Newport every year. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a year! Always friendly and accommodate very well. We did have a hiccup with power going out in our room the first night, however, they got us right into another room, same as we had. Altogether a great place.
