Westside Wanderlust w Hot Tub

Summary:
West of Cincinnati and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood is where you’ll find Westside Wanderlust, a historic home perfectly blending antique finishes with modern touches.

The Space:
With 3 private bedrooms and an office space, your group will have the space to spread out and find their desired privacy while offering relaxed and inviting communal spaces for coming together to create lasting memories. The major highways serving as arteries to and from the city are within easy reach, making any destination possible in Queen City. One such attraction, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, is a must-see for visitors, frequently named one of the best zoos in the country. From there you can continue into downtown Cincinnati where you’ll be met with your choice of art and cultural museums, historic landmarks, and the scenic Ohio River waterfront and riverwalk where you can spend all day taking leisurely strolls along the river trails. The nature lover in you will find an almost endless number of parks and recreation areas ripe for exploration, while the city folk will enjoy the ample shopping and dining destinations that line each street. Cross on over to the Kentucky side for even more things to do, and you can reserve your spot on one of many bourbon and distillery tours this area is famous for. Cincinnati really does have it all!

At the home, continue your time outdoors by taking a relaxing end-of-day soak in the available hot tub overlooking the scenery and greenery of the back yard. The deck above offers a spacious area for relaxing by day under sunny skies or by night under the expansive sky. Heading indoors from here, you’ll first find the kitchen, a chef’s dream outfitted with high-end, stainless steel appliances, gorgeous counters, and rich cabinetry stocked with cookware and dining ware for achieving all of your culinary ambitions. The spacious island flawlessly operates as a host for meal preparation and display, and 3 barstools are also on hand for casual meals or quick bites. Formal meals can best be enjoyed in the dining room next door, where an antique table and chair set can seat 6. For all your entertainment needs, head down to the lower level to find the living room with a plush sofa and loveseat and a smart TV ready to stream all your favorite shows. Also within this space, a wet bar complete with sink and refrigerator is available for serving up drinks or a delicious spread of afternoon hors d’oeuvres.

This home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests between 3 private bedrooms. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of a dedicated office on the second floor.

Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and glass walk-in shower.

Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed.

This home is located on the Westside of Cincinnati, with local restaurants and bars close by. You’ll have easy access to highways and the downtown area. Beyond this area, there’s still so much more to explore. From Cincinnati’s street art revolution which has transformed neighborhoods with 180+ public murals, to its serious beer culture, trendy shopping, and dining in revitalized historic neighborhoods like Over-the-Rhine, and authentic Art Deco architecture and design, this culturally diverse city is a can’t-miss destination.

Over on the Kentucky side of the river, you’re in prime Bourbon Trail territory. Check out distilleries and sipping points where you can sample Northern Kentucky’s bourbon, often paired with traditional southern foods. A Charming Blend of Old and New
This house was the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The ornate details, like the original hardwood crown molding and the grand, curved staircase, transported us back to the early 20th century. Yet, the kitchen was a delightful surprise - spacious, sleek, and equipped with everything a modern chef could desire. The house was not just beautiful, but also incredibly functional. We loved spending our evenings relaxing in the cozy living room or hanging out in the hot tub. The three bedrooms were comfortable and quiet There is ample off-street parking! The location was ideal, with easy access to downtown Cincinnati or Newport on the Levee. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable vacation experience, this is the perfect choice.

Beautiful old home with a lot of character
This was a beautiful older home with a lot of character. It was well maintained and clean. Extremely spacious. We absolutely loved the big island and dining room. The area was extremely quiet and very close to Paycor stadium and downtown without have to deal with crazy traffic which we loved. The response time to questions/concerns was extremely quick and very friendly. They even followed up with us asking how our stay was and truly listened to our response and suggestions. We would highly recommend staying at this home and would choose it for future stays. Thank you for making this trip a memorable one!

A diamond in the rough!!!
Once you get over the slight fears of the location and neighborhood, it's very safe and relaxing.. Yes the area isn't the greatest, and there's absolutely some sketchy people walking around a few blocks over, but this street is actually OK and the neighbors are all pretty cool. Didn't even see anyone outside hardly.. The house is amazing!!! Perfect amount of space for a family. The hot tub is a very nice addition as well, although we would have preferred fresh water instead of used. (foam build up had to be dealt with) the kitchen is massive and boasted a restaurant gas cook top / griddle that was my favorite feature!!! (I would recommend instructions for this, because lighting the griddle was a little difficult) the basement TV room was super nice and cozy. Loved the reclining couch!!! The deck and back yard make the house feel secluded and private. It was nice to unwind and enjoy nature. The wild bamboo and wall lizards were pretty interesting to see! Overall this place is fantastic especially for the price. Excellent value!!! Some minor repairs were needed here and there like the light fixtures and cracked floor tiles. Also the fridge had a water dispenser that didn't work that we were bummed out about. We were super close to the zoo, museums, and downtown, so that was also a plus.. Again this was a great value and there were many excellent features that other vrbos / irbnbs do not have or provide. We would come back again for sure!!! Thank you!!!

Historic house get away
The house was clean, lots of space, and close to downtown. Neighborhood was like any city; one block over crime; 2 blocks over very expensive houses. The neighbors were friendly to us. We enjoyed our stay.
