"It was a nice place but access was an issue for me. Due to the power outages in Trindad the owner locked the front doors early and did not provide a key. It did feel like a home stay with limited privacy. The owners were super nice and helpful "

"Very friendy helpful hosts. Gave us helpful information on local bars and restaurants and places to visit. Arranged taxi for trip to botanical gardens and taxi to Trinidad with a stop for 2 hours at El Nicho park and waterfalls . Also serve great coffee with honey"

"Impossible to be better. Clean rooms, very spacious, owners are incredible people and friendly. Cook like used to do my grandmother, impossible to complain. We already booked there our next trip. Highly recommended but make sure your booking will not interfere with mine."

"Mr and Mrs Elias are wonderful hosts. They make me want to return to Cienfuegos. I enjoyed the tropical fruit breakfasts under the mango tree or up on the rooftop terrace. Very clean. Walkable. "

"Wonderful stay with lovely people. Great location a couple of blocks from the bus station, and very close to the Boulevard and main square. Spacious room with good aircon and nice shower and a delicious breakfast. Teresa can do your laundry and their restaurant suggestions were excellent. Teresa and Abel arranged a great share taxi for us, and looked after us very well. A gem!"

"Virkeligt anbefalelsesværdigt. Meget imødekommende, hjælpsomme og flinke ejere af la Perla. Super service virkelig god morgenmad. Den eneste ulempe var at jeg var nødt til hver gang at skulle have fat i ejerne for at komme ind og ud af huset. De var dog altid meget hurtige at åbne. Følte mig virkelig velkommen."

"I would go back to La Casa de Cecilia many times! Great service from the minute we arrived, the house is colonial and beautifully renovated, and they offered great breakfast (they can accomodate vegans and celiacs) for an extra 5 CUC. I recommend it "
