"Margarida guided us right in and was a most gracious hostess. The villa was built in 1698 with a chapel and ruined convent adjacent. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. The views were fantastic all around. The property is located within a working farm with sheep, cows and one fat hog. Super private. Close to Evora and other amazing towns. Villa is huge and roomy. "Cold, dark and with a strong smell of damp was our first impression of this property. On arrival (Sat.) we were met by a pleasant young woman, who spoke no English and who took away the voucher with the owner's telephone number (my oversight, should have made a copy). The hob had three gas burners and one electric plate: there was no way to light the gas (we don't smoke) and the electricity to the plate was turned off at the socket with a key. We spent a cold and uncomfortable first night partly...

"Our family of 5 (kids ages of 6, 4 and 1.5 year old) absolutely loved our stay! Albertina provided us with so many thoughtful things for our stay including a crib, high chair, and a paddling pool for our infant. Albertina made sure we had everything we needed or knew where to go to get it. The place is very spacious, you get the entire farm to yourself, and our family was very sad we had to go! Hope to stay again!"

"Our family of 5 (kids ages of 6, 4 and 1.5 year old) absolutely loved our stay! Albertina provided us with so many thoughtful things for our stay including a crib, high chair, and a paddling pool for our infant. Albertina made sure we had everything we needed or knew where to go to get it. The place is very spacious, you get the entire farm to yourself, and our family was very sad we had to go! "Great hotel and great amenities. The staff was amazing and so was the food. Unfortunately it is located in an area with little surrounding such as a supermarket, restaurants … also no phone service but a great WiFi coverage. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday."

"I did a roadtrip to Portugal and one of my stops was Evora, next day my plan was to go to Fatima. This Hotel was 45 minutes from Evora in the way to Fatima, I loved to stay here for one night because the surroundings of the hotel are very relaxing and the views beautiful. The room was very clean, loved the decor of the room. The pool was very refreshing with the high temperature of summer in the area. "
