"There is nothing particularly 'wrong' with this hotel. It felt very out of season in full season. The location is great for the airport - only 10 miins drive. I was very annoyed that the lift didn't work - and we had to lug all suitcases up several flights of stairs. (We were staying overnight before travelling home so there was lots of packing and bags etc that had to be combined) We hadn't booked breakfast, and were told we hadn't so we couldn't have it anyway. "We had a very very pleasant stay in this impressive strong character old house yet with all modern facilities and comfort. The area is simply amazing and the light rain did not stop us at all from having long walks/trails in the woods, waterfalls, old bridges etc Last but not least the people that welcomed us, were extremely helpful and made us feel like being among good friends"
