While there are improvements one could ask for in the overall rental property there is no reason why you would not want to stay here. A Beautiful view, house is spacious and airy, bedrooms have have AC and beds were comfortable. The host was prompt in responding by text to issues about the house. The bad news is that several of the issues should not have been issues in the first place. The place is hard to find. It has an actual street address, but on St. Croix street addresses mean little. We were able to get directions by texting the host but even then we missed some landmarks. There were a number of aspects about the house we had to figure out on our own - which key fits which lock, which wall switch turns on which light or ceiling fan, we had to text the owner to learn the Wi-Fi network and password information. These are the kinds of basic information that one takes for granted in rental properties and could easily have been detailed in a simple guest information packet. These negative aspects of our experience are things that can be remedied, and they did not outweigh enjoying the beauty and comfort of the house itself. We would gladly return to this house on our next trip to St Croix, and would recommend it to anyone else .

Awful experience; bad property managenent; too many unresolved problems; had to leave property
The property has lots of problems. The major one being there was no running water. We told the property manager and someone were told some repairs were done recently that may have caused it. We had to leave the home for few hours while worl was being done. We left the door open with keys to handyman who convinently left home open without locking when he left.leaving all our stuff open to being stolen. When we came back in dark we were told the repair is done by property manager but we still dint have water. There werre several other issues in property. Outdoor lights werent working. Bedsheets were soiled. Kitchen faucet was broken and non operational. Kitchen had plates mugs and stuff for less than 4 people when the house accomodates 8 people. Master bedroom balcony door wouldnt open. There were no towels in bathroom and no soaps, paper towels, soaps or shampoo supplies provided. When asked the property manager about all this he had no idea about it. He had not visited the property for more than 3 years it seems, not even after the major repairs he mentioned. Eventually we had three plumbers working in property till 10.30pm during our vacation trying to fix water, outdoor lights etc. And someone came with supplies at 9.30pm. Overall it felt very unsafe and our vacation was ruined. We had 65 year old elder parents and they suffered thru all this. We did not get running water or kitchen faucet repaired by midnight. We were not promised refund nor have we yet received it

Amazing Views
2nd time renting this property and it was just as gorgeous as we remembered. Check-in/check-out was easy, views and breeze were amazing, and communication with David prior to arrival was prompt. No issues! Everything was superb! Would highly recommend for large families that want privacy with excellent views.

Amazing Private Home with endless views
We stayed for a week and loved every minute of this property. The view is amazing on arrival, private, quiet and well kept. The pool was great, working and clean. The kitchen was equipped and great to cook with a view. Actually views from every room were amazing. The location was perfect for daily excursions, 8min from downtown Christiansted and really no more than 30 min from anywhere else on the island. A fitness club and cafe at the entrance to the neighbor hood provided great convenience for a workout and a bite. Will be back again and stay at this property.

Location, location, location and a great property
Perfect location for any family looking to explore the island. We snorkeled 5 beaches and none were more than 30 minutes away. Christiansted is minutes from the house. Communication was great and all issues were resolved quickly and without any disruption to our stay. Others have talked about the pool, house, and views which is all accurate. Would stay again

Amazing House & Pool
We loved staying mid-island and high up top on hill. Breezes constantly blowing! Dave was wonderful and supportive when power went out for a very very short time due to a storm. St. Croix is laid back and relaxing just like the house! The pool was so nice to have to cool off in after a long day sightseeing. Can’t say enough great things! Comfortable and had all the essentials in kitchen. Plus loads of towels and washer/dryer. Fab house…#islandlife

Beautiful location, great property
Beautiful location, great property, great view. Overall, I would highly recommend the property but there are a few items to note: Directions to the property were not particularly good -- they direct you to a location but then you have to backtrack to the road up to the property (which was very confusing). The property could use some updates and some blinds/curtains in the master bedroom. A door on the master bath would be good too. A book or list of instructions would be nice -- it was difficult to find the light controls (particularly the outdoor lights).

Wonderful first stay in St. Croix
I reserved this property for a family vacation to St. Croix over the holidays. A group of six adults stayed comfortably in this three-bedroom home. The following elements contributed to our excellent experience: spacious common areas and kitchen; well-appointed kitchen; washer and dryer; outdoor clothesline; beach bag, cooler bag, and beach towels provided; comfortable beds and pillows; beautiful views, garden, and pool area; and the house's proximity to downtown Christiansted. Also important, David always responded to my (varied) questions promptly. He was an accommodating, knowledgeable, and understanding host. Thank you, David!

Splendid Hideaway!
First & foremost - we ADORED this property! The ever-changing views, the privacy, the beautiful furnishings, the pool, the wildlife, the location, etc... This property checked all the boxes of a perfect vacation for us. We will be back!! With that said, I do have a few suggestions on improvements that could be made to optimize the guest experience. The installation of shades in the bedrooms and upstairs shower to ensure privacy from others who may be in your group. I see that a few other people also had issues with the TVs / firesticks in the past. We did as well and Dave was quick to respond. We did get one of the TVs up and running but needed to use our own Prime account to power up the firestick. Dave was working with the owner to get this resolved. If you are interested on watching TV while visiting, just check with Dave in advance to find out what the current situation is. There is no screen behind the kitchen sink.. Just wooden loovers which meant we kept finding little gecko visitors (dead & alive) in the kitchen. Dave did say that a special custom screen was being ordered to correct this issue. If you are a northeasterner like us, you will find the main house to be very warm during the day. All bedrooms have AC and they work fantastically! If you are planning on cooking inside, I would suggest doing it in the early morning to avoid heating up the house further. We made meals in the morning and just heated them in the microwave for dinner. We also used the grill a few times. Lastly, it would be great to have a house manual to explain the nuances and expectations for the property, such as trash pickup, home alarm settings, days that the pool attendant comes, explanation of light switches (oh man, so many light switches :) ), what is expected for clean up & linens, etc.. I think knowing these things in advance allows guests to settle into vacation mode much more quickly! I know this rental is just 9 months young so I am sure all of the minor kinks will be worked out over time. This is a special place and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to my friends and family.

Awesome property with excellent views and breeze.
This property was well maintained and had amazing views and breeze. The open floor plan was great for a family of 6 and the house never felt crowded, as there were two very large living rooms and three spacious bedrooms as well. There are AC units in all bedrooms and ceilings fans in all other rooms, including the kitchen to provide you with a little extra breeze if needed. The pool came in handy in the evenings as the family gathered around the pool deck for cocktails and other light refreshments. Another great feature for us was that the house was located about 5-10 minutes away from everything we needed, such as grocery stores, gas-stations and restaurants. There was one small hiccup with the TV's; however, the property manager (Dave) was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests. I would definitely rent again and would highly recommend this home for large families. My only suggestions would be to add window covering for privacy at night. Besides that, this house was perfect for us and Dave was a great host.

The views of this property are what dreaming is for. Our favorite and most memorable part was the view! Gorgeous. And the trade winds. Unbelievable. Th homes location could not get ant better either. I would definitely recommend this property to a family wanting to get away and relax.

Great views and amenities
I am a local Crucian who was on island producing a large scale event in coordination with the GVI. I found this online and the host was great and very attentive. He provided recommendations on everything on island and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is in a perfect and private location with AMAZING VIEWS of Christiansted and the south shore. I highly recommend this rental if you really want to have privacy and comfort in St. Croix. I loved it so much, I even inquired about the possibility of purchasing the home, but unfortunately its not for sale LOL🤷🏽‍♂️! Again David the host was super responsive and a great help. As a native Crucian, seeing good service like that makes me smile.
