Come enjoy beautiful Gentle Winds Condos in St. Croix USVI and stay in our lovely 2bd/2bth ground floor air conditioned condo located just thirty steps from the beach and ocean, the closest building in the complex. Our west facing location provides for spectacular sunsets from the comfort of the screened lanai, where most times you'll hear only the soothing sound of the Caribbean Sea. Your comfort is ensured with two bedrooms fitted with memory foam bedding, one king and one queen, each with it's own full bath; additionally, a queen sofa bed was is in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for those times you choose not to enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. To keep you connected and entertained Wi-Fi, DirecTV, a dvd selection, and a selection of games.

The Gentle Winds property itself is a relaxing uncrowded and spectacular North Shore location comprised of 60 or so condos in 9 buildings located on approximately 60 oceanfront acres. Some of the facilities available include the beach, the chlorine free fresh water pool, two tennis courts, a half basketball court, a kids' play area, shuffleboard, ping-pong, another small play area by the beach and pool, you can practice your golf game on the open fields, and many walk or jog along the long entrance road and open space. There is also a community "Great Room" adjacent to the pool for reading, relaxing, games and BBQ's are available for evening dining on the patio overlooking the beach and ocean. The "Beach Shack" provides delicious food and beverages while you relax by the pool or on the beach and is a gathering spot for all. The swimming fronting the beach is protected by a reef and is good for snorkeling.

St Croix itself offers many activities for young and old alike, as well as dining and entertainment. Salt River Bay (Columbus landed here)and Marina are next door where kayaking is popular, especially the evening trips to the bio- luminescent bay, one of only a few in this part of the world. Nearby also on the North Shore is Cane Bay, a beautiful spot with excellent snorkeling and scuba diving (dive shop located here)as well as some good oceanfront dining spots for all. Further afield are 3 golf courses, jeep tours, atv tours, sailing/boating, fishing, a botanical garden, Whim Great House Museum, rum factory tours, a casino and even a beer drinking pig are among the many things to do and see. A sailing trip to Buck Island National Park is a must do for its idyllic beach and good snorkeling. Just relaxing at the Gentle Winds beach and pool is also a favorite thing to do.

We had a lovely time staying at this property. Everything you need is included to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. Gentle Winds on the whole was a calm place to enjoy our stay. We especially loved the seaside bedroom, listening to the waves at night was sublime!

The condo is a short drive from the airport and conveniently located in between both sides of the island. The grounds and facilities were a big bonus. We enjoyed the views, beach, pool, & sunny shack bar/grill located on the grounds. Highly recommend and would certainly return.

Gentle Winds location and amenities made our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. The pool, commons area, beach and proper in general were very clean and well kept. The Shack open from Noon till 5 every day had great food and drinks. Nick, Vicki and the rest of the staff were great!!!

Wonderful Location for Families
Our family found this to be the perfect location for exploring the island. However, the Gentle Winds property, with the beautiful views, beach, beach bar, and pool, make relaxing at the condo also very enjoyable. We found the condo to be clean and stocked with many useful items, such as two beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, plenty of beach towels, and a pack-n-play for our young child. The host was also gracious enough to adjust the check-in and check-out times based on our flights, which was sincerely appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This unit is the best in a community that is the best on the island. The condo is well-maintained, clean and perfectly located in the complex. Wonderful villa
Gentle Winds property is really awesome. The villa was exactly as advertised. Clean and fully stocked with all conveniences expected for a wonderful vacation. Owner was responsive to questions via email in a timely manner. The ocean was no further than 20 yards from the villa’s back door. We will hopefully get back to St. Croix and this villa in the future.

This condo is beautiful and very close to the beach and pool. There is an exit through the bedroom to the lawn which leads to the beach and pool. The condo is very comfortable for 2 couples; each having their own bedroom and bathroom. Gentle Winds is one of the best places to stay in St Croix. The Beach Shack is a major plus where drinks and food can be purchased! The beach is one of the best in St Croix. We spent a lot of time in the water! I highly recommend this condo!

Thanks for sharing your Gentle Winds condo with us during our visit to St Croix. The unit was very clean and met all our needs. The condo is centrally located allowing easy trips east to Christiansted and west to Frederiksted. Gentle Winds is a very nice, quiet complex with a great pool and beach. This unit is located very close to the beach and has great views of the water and pool area. We would definitely rent again on our next trip to St Croix.

Our stay
This is the first condo we have stayed at that didn’t have dust bunnies under the beds. This was the most clean condo we have stayed at over our 8 years of visiting. There are a few updates needed such as cabinets and a new bath tub but it was clean. We love staying at Gentle Winds condo due to location, pool, snack shack and beach.

Blissfully relaxing stay at a perfect beach condo
We had a wonderful stay at this great place at Gentle Winds. Rob is an excellent host. The condo is lovely, clean and nicely stocked with dishes, pots and towels. The pool, poolside restaurant and bar are perfect. Internet, wifi and smart TV worked great. We spent hours on the porch watching and listening to the waves, both during the day and in the Moonlight. Very close to good diving, snorkeling and beachside dining at Cane Bay, about 15 minutes from Christiansted. Remember to take screenshot of, or write down the unit number and lock box code since there is no cell reception at the complex. The kind lady at the guard shack helped us out,, since we didn't plan well.
