Indigo is a stunning family home a stone's throw away from the beach; it is the perfect setting for your family getaway.
With five spacious bedrooms, comfortably sleeping ten people, you and your family (two or three families even!) will have more than enough space to spread out and relax.
The large entry hall leads to the kitchen, which is well equipped and has a round table and four chairs for casual dining or feeding the children. There is a TV in the kitchen with full access to Sky TV.
There is also a downstairs king size bedroom and a kids' den. The den has bunk beds, a sofa and access to Sky TV, along with some retro games for the whole family to enjoy. Please note that there is a parental code on this TV which will automatically release after the watershed.
The downstairs area is big enough to accommodate a whole family and has a ground floor family bathroom.
Upstairs are two further king size bedrooms; the master has an ensuite walk in shower. There is a twin-bedded room with two singles and a fixed baby cot and there is also another bathroom with shower on the first floor.
The dining area is open plan to the upstairs lounge that leads out onto the balcony. There is a large table that can easily accommodate ten people and is great for a shared family meal. Alternatively, enjoy a barbecue in the garden or evening out at one of the many lovely restaurants nearby.
Full Sky TV is available, so you can look forward to watching (or rewatching) your favorite movies and sports programmes on a 65-inch TV in the well-appointed upstairs lounge, with an amazing vaulted ceiling and leading onto the huge balcony. The balcony overlooks the large south facing garden, plenty big enough for the little (or big) ones in your life to stretch their legs and burn off some steam while the rest of the family relax on the patio which has ample seating for your party.
The area itself has much to offer and Indigo is about a five minute walk to Avon Beach. Turn left and enjoy a stroll along the beach towards Highcliffe, enjoying the views across to the Isle of Wight, or walk up through Steamer Point nature reserve and take a look at Highcliffe Castle. Turn right and walk along to the award winning Beach Hut Cafe;, a family run business which is great for grabbing breakfast or having coffee and homemade cake and watching the world go by. Further along is the Noisy Lobster restaurant with an amazing roof terrace, the Lobster Hatch where you can buy takeaway fish and chips to take back to the house, or enjoy eating them on one of the benches provided on the beach. There is also a gift shop, coffee bar and ice cream kiosk.
Further along is Mudeford Quay, famous for crabbing (you can buy crabbing equipment and bait at the gift shop or fish stall). There is a pub on the Quay called The Haven House Inn and a ferry that runs over to Hengistbury Head, with its expensive beach huts!
ShoreSports on Mudeford Quay hires out kayaks and paddleboards. Bring your own small boat, windsurfer or jet ski (which you can store on the driveway at Indigo) and enjoy all the delights that the water has to offer. Locally, there are masses of cycling, running and walking routes and fishing off the beach or Mudeford Quay.
Further afield, of course, is the beautiful New Forest National Park with beautiful walks and an opportunity to see the New Forest ponies.
