Great bed,close to many restaurants,service station,takeaways,bakeries and a friendly little local pub(Baillies). The room was roomy,also had washing / drying facilities in unit. Needs a blind on entrance door as the light coming thru was annoying when trying to sleep.

We called the hotel one day prior to our arrival as we were e scheduled to arrive at the hotel at 1am (creceptuon closes at 9pm). The hotel staff kindly kept our room open with the lights on so that we could access the room. The rooms were very clean, spacious, with a functional kitchenette and full laundry facilities. Beds were very comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for the price and location.

Azena is a very pleasant motel. In good condition, with a large and very comfortable bed. It is close to the Edgeware Shops, which have a great range of useful facilities supplies (restaurants, cafes, a bakery, pharmacy, bottle shop and supermarket). The room is a nice size, and the washing machine and dryer will be really useful for some visitors. There was some confusion around the late check out I had arranged when I checked in, but this was handled with a nice smile. The supply of plates and cups seems to be getting smaller with each of my visits, but is not yet a problem. I keep forgetting the refrigerator is left switched off and you need to notice and power it up. So that meant warm beer the next day!

This motel was close to a party we were attending. The room was a good size bed comfortable. It is starting to look tired. Bathroom tiles need renewing but overall okay for the price.

Deceptive motel very convenient for Christchurch!
Never judge a book by its cover! As we drew up we were a little apprehensive, but we had no reason to be. The staff were very helpful and sorted out a small problem we had of our own making. Although the accommodation appears a little tired, it was very clean and tidy with all essentials provided and more. There was tea, coffee, chocolate, milk, sugar, cookies, washing up liquid, soap, shampoo and so forth, even a sachet of washing powder! All replenished daily. You have your own washing machine and tumble drier. The room was serviced every day, the bins emptied and clean towels, flannels, tea towels, dishcloths etc provided. What more could you ask for. We would certainly use Azena Motel again and are happy to recommend it.

This motel is all you need for an away from home stay. It is clean, quiet and our room even had a washing machine and drier in the bathroom

Comfortable and clean
Great motel especially with the after service. Left a shirt behind and was posted to us from the owner. Comfy bed, great sized tv and good pressure in the shower especially after you work out how to turn on the tap :-)
