The configuration of the house was perfect for grandparents, parents and 6 month old; especially important to us were our own bathrooms and loos! "I was hoping for a few days of quiet in nature, and that is exactly what I got. I remembered what stars look like, fell asleep to the sound of a river, and read to my heart's content, warmed by a real fire. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The cottage isn't too far from wine chateaux (about an hour) and a couple of ancient dolmens, not to mention the beautiful Vézelay Abbey (about 40 minutes), if you want to venture out."
