"Older single friends wanting a change from the usual Christmas aloneness!!We had some lovely long walks & bought fresh seafood from Ilfracombe for Christmas lunch which we enjoyed in the garden room with a wonderful view of Lee Bay!The village pub was perfect for early drinks & the odd meal. Local people extremely friendly. Will definitely come again sometime."

"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

"We had a lovely stay at Curlew cottage. Appledore was a great spot and we loved the walks and local pubs, shops and nature. The house was as described and we had a very comfortable stay. The setting is scenic and close to lots of things to do - wonderful scenery, zoo, boat trips, lovely villages, and cafes. Aidan is a very good host and really nice and friendly. "We travel to North Devon every year and normally stay in Woolacombe. However, this year we went with another family and this collage was perfect for us all. We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. We particularly liked the snug and the large kitchen, which was well equipted, plus a washer and dryer (fabulous!). Outside you can wash out...
