"La maison est très bien placée dans un quartier résidentiel d'Amboise ce qui nous a permis d'effectuer de nombreuses visites sans avoir des durées de déplacements trop longues (centre d'Amboise à moins de 5 minutes en voiture, Chenonceau à moins de 20 minutes, Zoo de Beauval à 40 minutes)... Nous sommes venu à 5 avec 3 enfants de 4 à 7 ans. Pour une semaine, la maison été parfaite avec l'équipement nécessaire."

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

Modern interior with lovely high ceiling and large window looking out onto the terrace. Large kitchen and comfortable sitting areas. Pool, games, laundry all on site. "François - host par excellence - did everthing possible to make my stay probably the best in the 10+ years I’ve been using VRBO worldwide. His very quiet, well-equipped, retro-chic apartment and patio garden, on the left bank of the Loire, two minutes from restaurants, grocery shopping, is the best for biking to nearby chateaux: Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny and Blois, of course. You won’ be disappointed."
