"We have been renting cottages for 12 years, so this is not our first rental.. Great cottage in a private setting with great swimming- shallow sandy-bottomed water for the youngsters, but deep off the dock. However: 1/ the yellow floatie thing on the beach and the blue-topped cabana in the background of the photo of the property don't exist. 2/ lower bunkbed is unusable due to lack of support for the mattress 3/ BBQ is past its prime: works, but on its way out. Lid falls off if you're not...

We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna — a great way to relax after a day outdoors. "We absolutely loved staying at Three Paddles. The cottage is just the right size and feels larger inside than it looks outside. Everything that we needed was there. The interior is beautifully decorated (especially that upside-down canoe) over the huge wooden dining room table. We loved the kitchen, all the appliances that were available to us and the center island which was perfectly located and sized. The rooms are a good size and it was great that 2 of the 3 bedrooms had access to the back...

"The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay."
