"Lovely people "

"This place is impeccable. In spite of it being in an historic building it has been lovingly maintained. Our triple room had an enormous bedroom with twin sinks. The beds were in separate rooms and there were original paintings on the walls. Breakfast was very good. Stay there if you’re in the area."

"The room was not the best, bathroom required renovation and in general service could be improved, in fact we stayed for 2 nights and nobody cleaned our room after the first day... we returned in our room around midnight and we found it as it was at 10 am"

The attention to detail on the decor of the whole property gives a truly comforting & relaxed feel. The hotel is in a great location within a short 5-10 minute walk in to Chinon centre. "A lovely small hotel with bar only 10 mins walk from the centre .Although no food allowed in the room. There is a pleasant covered area at the back of the hotel where we picnicked both days. The rooms are practical and clean."
