Cutely decorated 1 bedroom cabin with large balcony porch and waterfall view adjacent from Chimney Rock Park. Spectacular view of the Waterfall from the Last of the Mohicans movie. Sleeps 4, includes one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. Access to 300 feet of a Private Riverside Park with pavilion, grills, firepit and swings right on the river you have access to. 1 mile from Lake Lure boating, fishing and many outdoor activities.

We truly enjoyed the rustic camp feel of this cabin with a few modern conveniences it was a wonderful weekend getaway and just a few minutes from chimney rock state park.

Beautiful view, lovely cottage and a wonderful stay
The cabin and location were wonderful. Everything about our stay was just great. Look forward to returning and staying here again. I felt like the walk from the parking lot to the cabin should have indicated it might be a little difficult for seniors and they should have been alerted. Thank you for the gorgeous scenery, wonderful people and a great stay.

Wow! What an amazing view and so convenient to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our anniversary here. The cabin was clean and well stocked with the basic essentials.

Great location.
Easy access to area fun. Management team was so friendly and welcoming. Not easy to get to cabin due to numerous outdoor stairs. Very rustic. Value was comparable to what is offered.

The cabin is located very close to Chimney Rock State Park. There is a covered front porch for use. A good base for other nearby towns including Asheville.

Disappointed is mild.
The cabin is old, falling apart. The AC sounds like a jet engine starting up. The floors are so uneven walking is interesting. The smell is the worst part. There is no privacy and it’s on a steep hill right off a main road. Motor cycles all night long. The people were very nice and the area will be nice after construction is completed. Ice cream shop, the river and flowering bridge were very nice.

The cabin was furnished adequately. The advertised number bath towels was far from accurate, there were only pillow covers on pillows and no pillow cases. The front porch needed a functional movable table for drinks and snacks. The ingress and egress were difficult, but mainly no heat in living area was really a problem on cold mornings.

A Bit Disappointed for Price
View of cabin for advertisement true, from only from close up in front yard. Photo did not help in locating cabin from road nor parking spot. Extremely small and very slanted floors made walking about within a little difficult for older adults. Tiny kitchen and minimally equipped. Lack of electrical outlets in kitchen and barely any shelf space in bathroom.
